Ok I'm playing, no other word for it. I seem to be going through another unsatisfied phase, flavour, vapour, perhaps its just a cold, perhaps its the 9mg juice in my ADV instead of 12mg? I've made a pair of fused claptons 2x 0.39mm Ti with a 0.15mm NiCr wrap. Quite pleased with the results, a little opening up of the wrap by the posts but I've done a lot worse. Steamengine Wire Wizard came out at 0.155 each, escribe says 0.08 for the pair and stable. Its in a velocity clone, I've taken a resistance reading of the dripper against the mod settings, cleaned the contacts and taken the atty off several times in the whole process, the reading remains the same. I haven't done any kind of dry pulse preheat, assumed that if the Ti has a hot spot or leg the NiCr will be the tell tale? Gone for vertical rather than horizontal I've found that its just cleaner, Juiced it up, started low all round, 40w 145 C, wouldnt trip the TC until it got to 60w, 75w at 175 degrees its a warm vape but only just hitting the limiter. Question I should have asked before hand but didn't. Steam engine shows a different profile for the clapton coil in comparison to a parallel, afraid I didn't consider that there may actually be a difference. Should I use this or stick to the G1 profile.

Try making a new profile for it but I don't think there's going to be hardly any difference as the nicr wrap just takes heat from the ti, you'd probably be fine using the tcr/csv for ti without making a custom csv, it's worth trying though to see if you notice a difference..

If its just hastle for you though, just stick with it if it's working.. Although the change to the csv file could make all the difference at lower watts..

thanks for the quick reply gm111. My mistake the TFR is the same, well pretty much to 0.000001, had a moment comparing the two in different tabs
