Hi all, having got an Evic mini under my belt and another on the way (Mr mac has two as well!) I am looking for my next mod. Having been spoilt by the istick 50 for battery life, I am wondering are there any dual 18650 box mods out there in a dinky size for a tight budget? You guys were spot on about the Evic mini so hoping there is something of this description for me

www.fasttech.com/products/4036100£22-50 ish with the code KUNGHEI A very narrow 2 battery mod, couldn`t be easier in the hand, all the electronics is above the batteries.
Wouldn`t you think they could have found 2 batteries the same, dont try this at home folks.

Dinky is a bit difficult to do as your having to accommodate the batteries. The smallest ive managed to make is this so it depends on how dinky is dinky

Someone's not happy though... his capped out at 75W. Software upgrade needed or is that a safety feature?

It depends what his coil resistance is, all mods have a current limit, resistance range etc and going by the pic it is the current limiting coming in. Probably a firmware update coming as happens often with Joyetech stuff lately EDIT There are 9v and 25Amp limits on the mod with firmware 3.0 which is perfectly sensible and normal. I dont know if they have updated that that with the 3.1 firmware.

With 200W on 2 18650s, what's the min safe resistance? To the internets!
Two 18650s 3.7V in series, lets say Samsung 25Rs 2500mAH. Each max out at 20A . 40A in series.
Ohms law calc from Steam Engine : assuming 0.2 ohm resistance gives 31.62 A. Looks ok! 0.1 ohm though pushes it to 44.72A. Safe spot limit appears to be 0.13 ohms.
Is that right or is maffs harder than me?

Think I might tip one of these into the FT basket robby. Was holding out for one of these but the reply to my inquiry to see if they would be restocking them was as clear as mud. Would have preferred the parallel battery configuration.

The Cuboid would probably be good for you as it is basically a larger version of the Evic mini that you like so I think all the settings & menus would be the same.

The asMODus Minikin is the smallest dual 18650 regulated device i've seen so far. Minikin on the left, Sigelei FuChai in the middle, Koopor Plus on the right. dnavapes.com have them for £49.99
