Am on 4 fb vaping pages and every week someone is being scammed, would not bother unless there on people that will vouch for the person that you are having a deal with… find it really scummy when people will scam you for £30, sad really.

IMHO Faceache has it's uses but I'd never buy anything from anyone selling anything on there, as for starters, it's so badly moderated.

If you mean the pages where anyone can sell & buy, then I wouldn't trust them at all, there are however quite a few reputable dealers/modders on FB like Vince's Tips, Ade Bousfield (think I've spelt it right) for example

I've only purchased 1 thing from someone on FB but that was on a retailers fan page and only £20 so i figured if i got knocked i'd just put a claim in with paypal as i marked it as a purchase anyway not sending funds to friends or family then i'd just tell the retailer so they could block the user. Didn't have to in the end though the purchase went through no problem.

Chrissie remember guys without moderation we will have anarchy

PayPal is another issue, seriously spending your time trying to get your money back, the protection is there but put a price on your time? I've made umpteen transactions on AAEC and never felt the need to pay fee's Suppose that's the benefit of a close knit community

I use fb a lot but sod buying stuff from randoms, there's to many scummy dicks on there trying to make a quick buck. I've seen a number of people getting scammed.

some of the facebook pages are very tight knit some are not so much and see people getting scammed every other day, just gamble you have to take. if you are not sure pay goods and service its only a few extra quid

I have bought and sold on Facebook with no issues. When you look at the amount of people in these groups and the amount of sales that take place the scams are actually less common than it seems. Cheap stuff i'll take a punt on but if it's anything pricey there's only 1 group I'll buy from

Never bought or sold anything via faceache in the past and have no intention of doing so in future. Trusted vendors and honest, upfront members here have served me well so far and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I am on facebook and am added to quite a lot of vaping groups but I don't buy, I just wouldn't risk it. But in saying that there are a fair few of our members on there so I have driptip swapped but only because I recognise the persons real name from forums! There are a few very good groups, I particularly like VHB as its an unusually well ran (and massive) vaping home brew site with excellent recipes. They have added many to Eliquid Recipes and its a superb resource and lots of support - it reminds me of AAEC mindset I love Siam Mods and Gary Dibleys pages and groups as you know I love my driptips and I am a member of a swapping group so its handy for rotating my stock (not that I can part with any of mine ) But in the majority FB groups are soulless as well as faceless. The advice and help is there but its sporadic and can be agressive, theres a hell of a lot of 'willy waving' going on!
