I had the same issue with an MVP mod with a Kanger subtank. The mod was faulty. Have you tried another tank?

Waiting while Isticks charge. Tank drained 2 Isticks. Istick now back to full power so its the tank that's faulty. Any suggestions what's wrong with tank?

is the tank getting very hot as the power from the battery has to be going somewhere and if its draining them that quick i would think something must be getting very warm

I ordered all 3 pins anyway as I've got 1 leaking and 1 I've lost so you've helped me out.

If the power is getting drained quickly it would make something hot, I would suspect a faulty mod. If the battery has ever been allowed to get very low or even very cold it could have reduced the capacity in the battery to almost nothing, but then it should also appear charge very quickly. Dose the battery gauge stay low after taking the atty out? If you have a resistance metre or another regulated mod to measure that the resistance is a high as it should be in that atty? Can you see any sign of damage one the rubber in the 510 socket?
If the atty is OK it is probably best to bin the mod as batteries can go with almost no warning and it is not worth the risk.
Be careful, try the atty on different mods if you have any and try different atties on the mod.

How old is the iStick 30, has it had much use. Do any other atties work on the Istick and don't flatten the battery. Does the atty work ok on any other mods.

I don't know much about these things but I'd say it is the mod. Change mod, change atty
Are you near a B&M store by any chance?

shezinsta draining of a mod = faulty mod, if the same thing happens with multiple mods because of the same atty then change the coil and still bin the mods...... the mods have a microprocessor circuit that is supposed to prevent autofireing, its supposed to provide short circuit protection and high resistence protection, if the microprocessor circuit is not operating correctly the mod is unsafe so do not use it. the atty might be have a dodgy coil in it but it sounds like the problem with the mods is liquid ingress into the device that's caused problems with it, I would not personally use them until lthey have been disassembled and checked out (and I wouldn't do that with one that might be fully charged without insulated tools)
