Well, when I say "The" Nutz 16mm RDA, I should say "A" Nutz 16mm RDA because every Nutz device is made, by hand, by Jhon to order and to the customers specification (BF or not, air hole size and/or airflow control etc). I had acquired a 20mm Nutz dripper from classifieds and I liked it so much I thought I'd get a 16mm one for my 14500 and "16mm top cap option" mechs. John replied very quickly my pm, and I specified a normal "flavour dripper" with a 1.1mm side air intake. John made my RDA on the 8th and posted it on the 9th, it arrived this morning (from Romania via Hungary and Germany). What I got was a jiffy bag with the atomiser wrapped in the same sort of pink bubble-wrap that Hellfire stuff comes wrapped in... Anyway here is the atomiser: Nutz drippers just screw together - no o-rings - and the thread machining is excellent - look: here is the join: The chamber on this is tiny: And the deck very open: NOTE: because the atomiser screws together, the position of the air intake relative to the deck is fixed and therefore there is a "right side of the posts" to attach your coil! I decided on a "modest build - this is a small atty that I will use mainly with 14500 IMR batteries - using three (very thin) strand twisted Kanthal: It heats up VERY fast - measured out at 1.05 ohms. Here is my wicking after applying juice but before squashing it down a bit: And lastly here is the 16mm Nutz on one of my Super T Precise Simplicity 14500 mechs: Conclusion: It's great - just what I hoped I would get - work well and gives decent vapour and top-notch flavour - can't really say more. Recommended!
