My recommendation for what it is worth would be: Joyetech evic mini Innokin Isub S Standard kanthal 0.5 ohm isub coils rather than the Clapton's (this seems to be the general consensus about the Clapton's)

The type of coil possibly best suited for a dripper?

If you can get the same flavour or better from the standard coils that seems the way to go then. Especially when they require significantly less power. (?)

After having used the iTaste 134 for about 2 years now, maybe it's time for new toys. I'm planning on getting the following: Innokin Disrupter Innokin iSub Apex 5 Tank Innokin iSub Clapton Coils Is there anyone out there who has the same and can tell me what they are like? have to say that the Disrupter Is a bit daft and long in the tooth now(not a fixed batt but you can only get them from us till we stop making them) evic mini with new batt is cheap and updateable software I have the 3ml apex and the airflow bit is a bit of a waste of time go for the isub s with 5ml wouldn't panic to much about getting coils as they last yonks' and my local band m shop sells them for £2.50 a pop(need to see if the have the Clapton ones in) and just to be nosey what tanks do you use now

I wouldn't say that I don't like exactly, it's just that the performance and vape is so much superior from a standard coil for me.

I'm now looking at the Cool Fire 4 Plus, especially as the battery appears to last longer between charges.

I have to agree with Perpetua not a fan of the claptons with the isub range the biggest surprise for me is the 2.0 coils at around 14 w very tasteful and nice clouds without them being OTT

well I got a occ Clapton and its not that good on the 1st tank tastes v metallic,a bit like they have used dirty wire bedding it in at 30 watts for a tank and then see if there is any improvement
not overly impressed
ok tank emptied and refilled
the taste has gone and the flavour is good tbh but ive cranked it up to 50 watts considering the coil is only .2 ohms it should run at around 90 watts to use 4.2 volts (it don't like much over 50) DO NOT use this on a mech mod it will dry hit
I think they have fubared by not making the coil at a higher ohm as I think all coils should work at 4.2 volts

and just to be nosey what tanks do you use now Kanger Protank II you might want to have a look at some rebuildable mtl tanks ,the erl is v easy to build on just in case you don't like sub ohming I tend to use 3 diff nic mg protanks and alikes 18+ mg rebuildble mtl (kayfun, erl ect)around 12 mg sub ohm under 6 mg and down to 3 mg if being silly yes you get a good vape from SOME subtanks but they are not the be all and end all and a good mtl tank is defo worth a try

In the end I went with my original choices: Innokin Disrupter and iSub Tank.
Can one use a Kanger Protank 2 with the Disrupter? I'm only asking because I have a bundle of wicks and coils for the Protank.
