Vaping Pride

I wonder how many of you do as I do and really show the world how proud you are of not smoking and of your new found vaping love.

There are lengthy stares, nudges and giggles in abundance when I put my Echo to my lips. But with puffed chest (which is now possible), I continue and invariably end up being asked what it is.

So vapours of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but a cough, smelly hair etc.

I'm positively evangelical about vaping Glyn . . . and have to resist the urge to rush up to each and every smoker I see, to explain the virtues of vaping.

I have had people test my 510 at work and have given the cards of a supplier around like business cards. I do regular Facebook and Twitter updates too.

#icon_rofl# you toke the words right out if my mouth we are but a new breed and the more and more we vape proudly in public especially indoors the smokers will soon follow we have lots if positive advantages over nasties we just need to keep on promoting them!!!

I march around the block during my teabreak and vape away Mind you, I do expect to be questioned 'officially' at some point cos I work at a Police station and reckon plenty of ignorance will lead plenty of folks to think I'm smoking some sort of drugs!

I also vape in the car, and expect to get pulled over at some point - while my Riva looks classy to me I reckon it looks like some dodgy drugs pipe to some

I've posted about vaping on Facebook, but will keep reminding people that I've given up fags - if I can get more people vaping it has to be a good thing, right?!

me too Sandra hence why I have a dse901 cig alike but it hasn't been out in public for 3 weeks I vape my riva with pride !!! And with sooo many shiny new accessories why should I hide it ## #icon_rofl#

Not one person has come up to me and asked not even in the bleedin pub on a sunday afternoon when we go out for lunch lol
When I first asked the landlord if it was ok to vape (in the lounge) he said 'heard of them, never seen them though' but even though I was stood in front of him he didnt bother looking at it lol

Will someone please show an interest in my ecig

I vape what ever I want in what ever mod I want wherever I want, I couldn't care less what anybody thinks, It bothers me not a jot if they want to stare, All I ask of them is that they keep their foul smelling fags away from me >
I will however take the right e-cig to suit the surroundings, I can't see the point in taking a dirty great lavatube with a tank on top of it to a restaurant when a 650mah riva will much better suit.
I bother no-body with what I'm doing unless someone asks me a question then I'll tell them all they need to know, I never impose it on people. I have lost count of the amount of cards I've given out and the amount of people I have guided on to a path of vaping but it's one hell of a lot But all of these people have come to me of their own free will.
I even got 3 police officers that were at the scene of an accident involving one of our vehicles interested and spotted them a couple of weeks later vaping away on their rivas at the tea hut on blackheath

And I always give the address of this site and tell them that all the info they could possibly need can be found here.

But I'm not proud to vape, just the same as I wasn't proud to smoke- all would be much better if I had no addiction at all, what I am doing though is satisfying my requirements in the safest way I can without feeling in the slightest bit embarrassed. That said though I do really enjoy my vaping

I echo the above sentiments from Blakey, I do feel that some new vapers do go through the "Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome", flouting their new toys to the public but unfortunately not realising how silly they look to other members of the general public, especially NON SMOKERS ! Afterall is said and done, we are still addicts are we not ? But we have found a much better, cheaper & healthier way of intaking a poison into our bodies.

Personally, I hated reformed non-smokers, with their 'cough' & 'complaints' whenever I used to light up a cigarette and now ? Well lets say that I do not wish to become the very thing I hate, a self righteous, know it all ex smoker.
