I have found they get very hot(the coil not the vape) after a couple of pulls at 35 watt (recommended wattage 30-70). I have used them in the iSub G and iSub S and in both tanks the same problem, I have used them on various mods with the same outcome. I have no problem with the normal 0.5 coils that I vape at 30-32watt (recommended wattage 20-35) Anyone else having them same problem.

TBH i tried them and did not like them at all i personally think the standard 0.5 coils are better.

@broadblaster I should have waited to see how they performed as the tank came with one preinstalled, but from the reviews I saw they were pretty impressive.

Me no likey cruella666 . . . . and thank the lord I cancelled the 4 boxes I'd ordered on FT in my normal haste to ' stock up for the Apocalypse ' . . . . 1 box box although unfortunate, is doable I reckon when served with a nice glass of wine.

I could not produce hardly any vapor from the 0.5 Claptons unless right upto 70w which is too hot for my taste. I tried 4 coils and all the same.
The 1.0 Claptons were a bit better but not for me either. Not a good experience for first time Clapton coils for me.
The regular 0.5 coils are what I am sticking with and imho are way better if you don't go for mega high watts.
Russ, the 2.0 coils are not too bad and give good flavor but they are definitely more suited as a MTL coil.
Ended up buying a Cleito tank and tried the 0.4 coil so far, now that is a Clapton coil I could get used to!

Yes the 2.0's are meant for MTL but i find with the i sub range i can shut the air flow right down and they work quite well for this. So for work, driving or any place where you don't want full on clouds i think they are a good compromise. So you gone for a cleito tank as well then lol.

Yes mate went for a Cleito and it's all you're fault I was eyeing them up for a while actually as I really liked my previous Triton coils but was concerned with leaks more than anything. So far had three tank fulls through it and I have had a tiny leak but that was after I tuned it upside down, other than that it is great so far Can't believe it holds 3.5ml of juice as the coil is almost as big as the tank! the coil obviously holds a bit of that as well and I like the design of these coils with the chimney inbuilt, similar to the Smok coils I used to run and can now see why these coils are a little more expensive. Only down side I can see atm with this tank is that it has to be empty in order to change the coil and it likes to drink the juice but I am happy with it and will be for home duty anyway. Looks wise, it's beautiful, but all that glass comes the danger of breaking if it's dropped, although I have never broken a tank yet How are you finding the Cleito Russ? Will use the 2.0 Innokin coils here and there as they are ok, but the 0.5 are perfect for me.

As for the cleito well yes i like the 0.4's the best and it a bloody good job i diy or i'm not sure i could keep up with the juice consumption of it, i use the supplied vape band round the glass as i have broke quite a few at work in the past. I do quite like it but i must admit i have now got the kanger mini top tank for work as i like something thats not quite as full on for everyday use.

The vape bands will help keeping the tank safe so hopefully all good there and yes it drinks but I will be using it for some light home use when I want to use my other juices that are ready mixed. I mix my own ADV which is a nice stright forward mint. I think DIY mixing is a must with sub ohming if you want to keep the cost down, at least for you're main juice Like the look of the Top tanks as well and choice of colors is nice too and always liked the Kanger coils from other tanks. I won't be buying one.....just yet

just checked my Clapton coil for the isub and its 0.2 ohm I'm running it around 45 watts now and tbh its not that bad however if you were to use this on a d2 or any mod without stepdown it would be bad, very bad
