Most oddly I've suddenly no sound when I play a Youtube video on either FF or IE . . . although on Chrome, the sound is there? Have had a brief rummage in my settings and the microphone thingwee's are all switched on and to all intents and purposes working? Is there something simple I can do . . . please don't let it be complicated, else I'll cry . . . a lot. Ta muchly.

The most simple thing you can do is a system restore to a point when you know your speakers were last working on ff and ie

Ooooo . . . I don't think I can handle a system restore Storm, it's out of my comfort zone. I'll have a go at Macca's thingybob and see how that goes, if you don't mind . . . I'm hopeless with computers.

Chrome is fine Macca . . . but I think I need to install Adobe Flash Player for FF now . . . least that's what it's saying.

There have been way too many Flash updates of late macca , it affects quite a few of the websites I use myself , but knowing that they are flash sites I automatically update , it does become a bit of a bind though

Go for it Perps but I think you have to do it as an FF add on , not used FF for a while since it turned into a slug
