I've just tried it, and it was very accurate, placing me in a certain part of the West Country. 

Also tried their option of couples, and where they might have met... the result from this search was outstanding. Used my parents maiden names, and it came up with only one red spot in the country, basically Kent, where they did in fact meet.

Raffles I just tried with a few family names and in my case they were all way out

Tried my surname (it's Irish origin) gave me Leeds area, then tried my mothers maiden name and got Ireland.

My entire family both sides originates from London - Fulham for one side and the East End for the other to be precise and that map puts us all in Bristol - to my knowledge none of us have ever resided in Bristol and I have a most unusual surname so thought it would find us!
