Thread Buttons

Hi Chrissie ...

Have noticed recently that the 'buttons' on the left of threads are now all the same (apart from 'locked' etc.)

There used to be a different one to signify popular threads (glowing or flaming if I remember), usually when it reached about 20 posts. It used to help in seeing what was current and worth looking at first... not that I don't look at the others

Is that a Proboards change?

The 'buttons on fire' have maybe been put out for Health & Safety reasons!? 



Hadn't notices until you pointed it out Raffles ... but now that it has been noticed it can't be un-noticed!.... bring back the flames I say!!

It is indeed a proboards change, they have removed the "Hot Topic" feature from from the software -

Shame... it created a bit of excitement, especially when one of our own was highlighted, although probably not for the right reason

Got to admit, I also think it's a shame

It'll be interesting to see if they bring the feature back with the new Proboards V6 that will be released in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
