ha! same with my daughter, 9ohms is her preferred wattage (nautilus, 1.8ohm coil) whatever keeps her off the fags is fine by me, although its a crying shame she's using a coolfire4 ... she likes the battery life though! I do wish she'd undo and refill tank herself, she sometimes struggles with the metal tank so I will have to pair her up with a vape buddy when she goes to Uni in Septemeber, I can see her now, wandering about the halls looking for a strong man to open her tank! and who's going to swap her coil out?!

Getting a lot of leaks while Im waiting on the wire Ended up ordering off a seller on amazon and also got a pointy proddy coiler thing
Seems the leaks are coming from the airflow holes If I lay the tanks on their sides like I did my trusty old protanks, I get leaks Protanks, never leaked in two years of using them, bung them on a mod in a jacket pocket, no leaks Lay the subtanks on their side and its pocket puddles
I take it the leaks are to do with the amount of wick used?

Think thats right. I usually get a leak after refilling a bottom fill tank. I keep them standing vertical because the tank will leak if laid horiz. Always happens when I'm not looking! I overcame the kettling (booming) and flooding (gurgle) effects, and was fixed by wicking adequately. Currently I think my wicking is not dense enough where any holes are....hence the odd leak. I sometimes spot a bubble arising out of the atty...I suppose it would since there are vent holes below for the draw. Suddenly thinking of one way air valve? Its not seals for the most part.

I think the leaks are probably down to the wicking! I carry mine loose in my jacket, lay on the arm of the chair for hours and never suffered any leaks and I'm usualy the worlds worst when it comes to wicking, the main thing I find is make sure the air holes are fully covered with no gaps at all, I even pull a tiny bit of wick through the hole to make sure, so far the subtank is the only tank I've owned that I havn't had leaks with, the only other thing I can think of is one of your O-rings isn't sealing properly allowing air in, one thing that might help as you can't fully close the air flow off is one of those silicone anti slip rings, just slid one down over the holes when your not using it, never tried it but heard it works,,

Sounds like a wicking problem lee I coil at 3mm inside diameter, thread cotton wool through the coil so that there is a slight resistance, bend wick upwards, put sleeve on and then snip cotton about 5mm above the top of the sleeve. Then gently with a small pointy thing push the wick legs down and fluff them up so that the wick completely fills the two holes and the channels between the ends of the wire securing screws. Get a tiny seepage as juice gets low but only talking a tiny amount that barely shows around the airholes. Hope this helps.
