Can anyone recommend a decent easy to use full colour label printer for professional looking quality bottle labels.

How many labels a week/month are you talking about?

Unless it is a pretty small number you probably want to get a few quotes from local printing firms.

It is likely to work out cheaper quite quickly.

at the moment I have batches of 500 printed then write the flavour in a white panel on the front but want to self print small batches with contents printed on instead of writing for a more professional look but as I have around a hundred variations large batches are a no no

I would check out Avery labels, and print onto A4 sheets with a regular laser printer. Avery have a decent download app for use with their labels as an add on to Office Word. That way you can print small batches, or longer runs depending on your needs. Avery do a huge range of different label sizes, so I would have thought you would find a suitable size for your bottles.

and buy labels with a quality gloss finish specifically for laser printers or ink jets depending on what you have.

a local stationer would probably furnish you with a couple of sample sheets if an order for a ream or two is likely.
