I emailed Darrant when the despatch date passed, did not get a reply so I rang Darrant last week to chase my delivery.
The woman I spoke to said that they were waiting on "specialist handling equipment before they could bottle the nicotine" (which was also late in)
She also said "We need specialist handling equipment because it is highly toxic and just a drop on your hand could KILL YOU"
I really had to bite my tongue at that point as I needed my order, as I also ordered VG & PG at the same time, she said they would ship the PG and VG separately so I waited, no VG & PG, I was about to call them again when I received a email saying my full order was being despatched.
Hopefully it will be delivered today/tomorrow but I for one will not be ordering from them again due to the delays non reply of emails and the bad information given by the woman on the phone and the promise to ship my VG & PG seperately which did not happen.
In future I will stick to DarkStar, they have been doing some real good deals recently including a (now expired) 27% discount and they are about to also do larger quantities of VG & PG.

DiscoDesare they talking about mixing 100% pure nic into 7.2% base ? or talking about decanting 7.2% base from a 250 gallon tank into smaller bottles ? if the former then they would be right about needing specialist gear for fear of dying when sorting it out, if the latter perhaps they are going off the "4% or stronger" info about lethality when absorbed or inhaled either way they cant be wrong for taking chemical safety seriously even if to you its going overboard there is a difference between safe practice at home or business practice /

They have just moved into selling nic. They have been selling other items for a while. There must have been a H&S requirement for safety equipment that they needed to address depending on the strength of the nic determins the industrial process, for instance they would require breathing apparatus for 100% pure if its being handled in the open along with full EVA suits and special bunds that are not based on oil capture, they might also require an automatic mixing + bottling system that works in a low oxygen positive atmosphere depending on the quality grading of the finished product and all of that gear requires training (even if its exactly the same kit used in every other mixing /decanting bay, they have to run a new induction program for the new bay under H&S rules for competency management) not to mention procurement and needs ot be kept in its own space away from other stuff .... of course if there a cowboy outfit then they could just open air it with a standard hose fed rebreather mask a visor and splash guards, but that would also mean the quality would be down the swanny .....
