Hi, fellow Alchemists of Flavour!
Before I dive in and make a dog's dinner of some mixes, could I ask for your opinions please?
I have recently taken delivery of some LMP and Glazed Doughnut from Arron's GB, and wondered if they can be used as standalones, or would they fare better in recipes?
If the later, does anyone have any tasty suggestions which I might have the ingredients for!?
Thanks in advance
Andy B

Thanks in advance Andy B Andy, I've recently mixed glazed donuts alot with the following: FA strawberry, Cap Danish Cinnamon Swirl, Bavarian cream and Cap Horchata and butterscotch and Cap Cake Batter. Donuts with strawberry and cream was awesome. I've got some donuts with Danish, cake batter and cream if you trying some?

Hmm, thanks for that RangersBillyBoy. - I would like to try, but will mix some testers up in the meantime to try the flavours out before getting all extravagant! I'm guessing that the Lemon Meringue Pie would be good to go on its own?

Might try your first recipe mikedidthis, I have some Inawera Lemon which is quite strong, so will have a play with a dab of VC, some GD and a bit of Lemon. I just want something which is a contrast to my Custard and Strawberry Milkshake which is pleasantly 'clean' to the palate.

chykensa I wish I could take credit, but it is one of Tom recipes. The lemon is delicious, almost like lemon curd. A light, yet refreshing vape.

chykensa not overly keen on glazed doughnut as a standalone but the lmp is nice i usually add a few drops of lemon to liven it up abit tho

20% I use LMP at as a standalone chykensa . . . . better not left for too long I've found, otherwise the lemon tends to peak off.

+1 for Tom custard doughnuts Really yummy but I'm upping the VC I think to 12% I'm considering 15% but not sure if that might ruin it

I ordered the V2 by mistake when I first started mixing jtc and actually it isn't that bad, a little dry perhaps and lacking a little meringueyness but otherwise perfectly vapable and I haven't wasted it although do now use the V1.

OK, time permitting over the weekend, I'm mixing LMP as a standalone with a little extra Inawera Lemon to pep it up a bit, and will try Tom's recipe for the Lemon Custard Doughnut thingy posted above. I also have some Cinnamon Danish which I haven't tried yet, so will mix up a few ml of that to test before asking about recipes that use that concentrate. Thanks as ever for the informative responses, keep 'em coming folks, useful not only for me but for the new mixers out there keen to try something different
