Ordered a couple of Isub Gs from fasttech - unfortunately one of them had a broken glass tank section on arrival. FT support have asked me (!) if their iSub S glass replacement (https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10020704/4441600-replacement-glass-tank-for-innokin-isub-s) will fit the G - if so, they will send that. I have no clue if they are compatible - any one else out there tried this combo or know if it will work?
Thanks!

Thanks @broadblaster and Perpetua! Think I will take the easy route and get FT to credit my account $2 whilst ordering those replacements from ebay (nice find Perpetua:)) Cheers!

Do yourself a favour and check which version you have before you buy the glass. There are two types around. I bought a couple in the CNY sales from FT and got the old version. The glass tank offered above won't fit the old version. Check out the discussion on the Innokin Isub G comments page www.innokin.com/tanks/isub-g/Another way to check, did it come with spare 'O' rings? If yes, you've got the latest version. No 'O' rings, old version.

Thanks norfolkphil - that really helps sort out which version I have been sent by FT. Luckily I have v2 - so I will be fine and ordered the tanks that Perpetua had pointed out. Meanwhile FT have come back and asked me to measure the broken glass to see if the isub s will fit lol. Just been trying to extract the broken glass and it just shreds - no measurement will be happening on that! trouble is there is lots of glass stuck in the top where it is held in place by the oring. If I don't have any luck the whole tank is going back.... I hope the G is robust in normal use - can't see replacing the glass often as being terribly viable. May try the original Isub and see how that is!

No consolation . . . . but I think you've been jolly unlucky dhansak, I've quite a platoon of iSubs and happily have had zero issues with any of the glass versions. ( You watch, I'll break one now and be sobbing in my porridge! ) Nothing not to like about the original really . . . . except there's not the same certainty on eliquids that have the crackage potential and the drip tip is fixed. Hope you can resolve your situation though.

May try the original Isub and see how that is! most tanks I've found become twice as robust if you use those silicon vape bands to provide a bump impact absorber for those times when you knock it over, although I've had a couple of out n about drops that have pretty much wrecked the tank a few times (thank god for cheap sales options from china or vaping would cost more than smoking .......) as to getting the broken stuff out of the atty, don't bother trying to save the origns they wont be serviceable anyway, just replace them and be done with it.

dhansak I have measured both isub G and isub S glasses and they are different. Isub G is 21mm diameter and isub S is 20mm diameter.
