daveBecause I have a great aversion to the High St usuals - Screwfix, B&Q and Argos I look around a little further. Not an easy job. However, a Toolstation was opened very close recently and I am trying this: www.toolstation.com/shop/p36353?searchstr=usb%20chargerNot keen on the Screwfix LAP brand. They are all pricing this stuff too high for what it is generally. And safety issues bother me since I cannot fully trust anything printed on these things.

One xstar (basic but 6 bays) lasted me 2 years and can still be used as back up mixed reviews on Nitecore. this is my current go to I'm xstar from VE Jason when he had a shop - otherwise try torchy on ebay

Dave well I run my xtar 4vc4 off it along with a couple of phones and as required istick's, with just the vc4 plugged in doing 2 batts its sucking 2 amps, or 2 amps on 4 batts but 1 amp on 1 bat or 1.5 amps on 3 batts ..... add in the mobiles at half an amp each a couple of tablets (as required) or some icrap from a visiting relative .... anyhow its good and with the right leads will fast charge anything at its max level because of the auto sensing thing in the charger giving you double protection on the various plugin items, and as I say I love the visual confidence check of the oled display, would be better if it told you how many amps were churning down each output but its a first generation display so you cant have everything
