Red Astaire paint stripping

One of my Kanger subtanks has lost its paint/coating   It was filled with red Astaire, home brew, for maybe a couple of weeks, just changing the wick and coil, but it literally melted the paint, just like paint stripper does. It went all bubbly and flaked off into the juice   
So the once white tank is now mostly silver thanks to the metal pan scrubber. I have had the sub tanks for a while now, so I have no idea how long this one has been in use, but I really never expected that to happen.

Im sure those painted kangers done it with alot of different juices didnt they?

Certainly done it to another that I remember recently . . . coincidentally Jacques le Mon:

Both of which I use happily without issues in a non painted tank.

never liked the way some tanks have coatings inside the tank
would never buy a clone with said coatings but suppressed at the kangers stripping

Never liked the idea of painted tanks for this very reason.

Shopping already begun Perpetua, moving to a goblin tank first off, should arrive soon. Had a visit from my son last week and his vape experience has moved on loads.......from the ego I got him, he is totally off cigs and now cloud chasing, gently. He's done loads of research etc, and some serious shopping and is enjoying things, so he helped kick me on a bit. He also sent me a sigelei 150w mod etc. But new tanksmight well be needed. We are great up here, and fur babies just as adorable thank you. Been a bit absent from here for a while, life gets in the way, so some catching up to do

I have never succumbed to painted tanks - I think they look best in plain metal, although the one exception is my black Billow v2 which, due to lack of airflow, rarely gets used these days!

Highly delighted Perpetua, especially as I can now expect his cast offs but so pleased he is off cigs relatively young. And we can talk vaping, keeps the interest going. Yep . . . . all fine for me sleedale happily.
Still spending waaaaaay too much money on vape related gear - but heigh ho, at my age I need one vice at least!

New furbaby has been hard, hard work - not her fault when idiots who shouldn't be in charge of a turnip have an animal then discard them like rubbish.

But 15months on, we're getting there and I wouldn't be without her now.
