...at the local Spar. Haven't bought that since I was looking for jobs (or careers if you want to be posh). Well, after turning a few pages, I gave up, a broadsheet is just too much for someone of my age now. It was massive and way beyond my comfortable vision. I used to be able to cope with tabloids, well up to page 3 anyway. Does anyone still buy print newspapers anymore, as it's only able to give you yesterday's news, and opinions which are already out of date. Just a thought.

Just noticed the 'normal' price... £1.40... x30 =£42 per month I could get a Sky subscription for that... NOT that I would... if it happens, it happens!

There plenty of good free ones. Sky sports news, bbc news etc. Can tailor the app to suit what your interests are too

Used to pick up the free copies left behind by punters customers when I worked on the trains, think the last paper I bought was about 20 years ago, waste of trees and they all tell lies anyway.

I buy one paper a week on a Saturday to get the TV guide for the week . . . . the actual newspaper goes unread into the recycling.

I have an hour to kill in Sainsbury's (sorry, Perpetua!) in Truro on a Thursday while I eat, before more teaching, and always read the 'i'. Good paper, readable in an hour, and 40p to boot! Keeps me up to date with the news, and not overtly biased one way of the other. A good read

Lol . . . . we provide a similar newspaper reading service in our cafes chykensa, in addition to our customers receiving a free ( selected ) newspaper with a £5.00 spend Monday-Friday ( £10.00 Saturday and Sunday ) lots of people still read newspapers when they're free! O . . . . and you can get a complimentary cuppa in our places as well.

Aaaannnd - the nearest Waitrose is . . . . not in Cornwall!!
Plans to open a branch just outside Truro are now scotched, due to problems with Prince Charles' Duchy land - say no more!
And I have to pay for my copy of the paper, unless the rack looks well-populated as I walk by on my way to buy one!

I did go through a spell of buying the "i" on a Saturday but mostly for the crossword
