This is very strange, but good, the OP takes me to the mobile phone friendly site, I have never used this before. I purchased the Evic and then I had the options of which gift certificate I would like to use, I had one for $24.00, one for $3.48, and one for $0.36, ended up getting the vic for £8, I have used fastech for years and I'm always aware of any money or codes owed.

The 70 W version I got in FT CNY sale was fw v 3, latest is 3.1 which is well worth updating as you can adjust watts down as well as up. The acceleration on the power & temp adjustment in mental almost to the point of being unusable without the down adjustment. If you get it in time Perpetua I can update the firmware at the Prestleigh meet, but be sure to let me know so I put it on my laptop and bring that.

It is good, a lot better than SX Mini M, but not quite as good as a DNA 40 IMO.   EG I was walking the dog today with one with dual titanium coils and had to adjust the temp 3 or 4 times, same atty & build on a DNA 40 is a better vape and temp stays stable stable indefinitely.  TBH it stayed stable after mega tightening the 510 and I don't get that with the Reaulaux that has more or less the same 510, but I still get a bit nicer vape from a DNA 40.  

For the price, and even double that price, it is a excellent performer and wouldn't hesitate recommending it.

  I'm kinda worried now...this sounds beyond my capabilities...I don't understand any of the above i.e - I can't adjust watts down?

Basically out of the box the watts only adjust upwards but if you miss your setting then you just keep going and it will round robin back to the beginning

It is just very irritating and doesn't affect how it vapes, as jtc said out of the box you can only adjust up then it round robbins and if you hold the button down the numbers move far to quickly and I always go past what I was aiming for. With the up date you don't have to round again, hopefully they will slow it down a bit in future updates it is a same cause other that that it is a great mod.

Updating the firmware is easy and if you get stuck like Lee said there is a free program called TeamViewer where you can let a fried on your computer over the net. They can see your screen, copy files both ways, use the mouse and keyboard, you still have control and and end their session with on click.

It's what has put me off Evic's in the past Gill - the technical aspect as I'm a total doofas myself, my mind just goes a complete blank when faced with a set of instructions.

You could always send your device to me ( if it comes in time ) I'll take it to Prestleigh - I'm sure VapingBad would be happy to do both our updates.

Then I can post it back to you, all done did.

It is easy, only 2 buttons to chose from on the update program [Update] or [Exit], then you chose the file the file names make it easy to pick the right one.
