It's what has put me off Evic's in the past Gill - the technical aspect as I'm a total doofas myself, my mind just goes a complete blank when faced with a set of instructions.

Yes, your are more techie than you let on & gill2009 no need to post the mod I'm sure I could walk you through it or do it remotely with TeamViewer.  Assuming it needs the update it may come with the latest firmware.

Ladies, I bought the red one recently and the down button works fine so I'd be surprised if yours aren't already sorted

You girls remind me of something my mum once said "why should I learn to program the video recorder when I have 3 son's that can do that"

Good news, BTW you have to click up once first or down scrolls to the next setting and if yours does that it doesn't need updating ATM.

given its size ease of use and non funky TC operation it really is the perfect out and about round town device when you need more power than a istick 30w can deliver, or you need something small with multiple battery options for a short trip, my second one arrived as was promptly swiped by the missus for her newly swiped subtank mini ...... probably should order more coils for that since she doesn't like home made ones in the RBA....
