so picked up my snowwolf mini this morning expecting it to work as last night but it doesn't, powers on but that's it......up and down buttons dont work and just comes up now and again with set resistance,anyone know what's up or do I need to see if there is a mod fixer with some spare time?

Have you tried removing the battery and tank/atomiser and leaving it for a few minutes. Then put battery back in, leave the tank off initially and see if it works. While the battery is out check the contacts are clean and not bent or mangled in some way.

Clean any juice from the connector and check there's no juice got into the buttons.

I have a pile of mods like that aaront903. Can't bring myself to bin 'em for some reason.

with the absence or a hard reset pin hole/button try leaving without a battery for an hour or longer overnight? there could be an electrical component holding enough charge to keep it in an error state long enough between battery changes so its not doing a full shut down and restart ?? granted its a thin possibility but may be worth a try..

will leave it overnight tonight and see what happens,thanks all,nah Defford couldn't bin it,only got it a week ago 2nd hand and a bit knocked bit it's a great work mod

found this on a YT about snowwolf problems

Take the back off and remove both batteries. Take the 4 small screws out around the battery case (1 in top left corner and 3 down the right side) and remove the 'L' shape plastic cover. Pull out the white 6 pin connector from the main board (located directly behind the fire button) then pull out the other end from the back of the display. remove all the e-juice (I used small cotton buds dipped in Propan-2-ol). You need to make sure that all e-juice has been removed from the connectors on the cable you pulled out including where each connector plugs back in. Plugging the cable back in is a little bit of a **** on but trust me, it will plug back in. leave the little black case off what you removed for now, pop the batteries back in and put the back on. It is likely to work fine at this point but you need to vape on it for a few hours. If you have not removed all of the e-juice, the error will return when it gets a little warm through use... The top right corner inside of my mod was covered in juice, it took me a few attempts, every time I took the back off, I found more. Its working fine again now so definitely worth a try.

maybe there's something in that that would fix your problem, other posts talk about needing to resolder various things because the mod was covered in dry joints or bad joints /
