Hi Guys
I have just bought the above and thought I would ask if anyone has either and what coil builds you use in them.
I currently use the isub G and S with 0.5 coils @30 watts and ijust 2 tank with 0.3 coil. I like a cool to warm vape with lots of vapour and I'm aiming for no lower than 0.25 ohm
I have wound coils for the isub rba and have done a duel 0.5 ohm build for the aromamizer but not too happy with the vape. Wire I have is 26 and 28 gauge but some vids I have watched they are using 22,24 and 30 I've played around with the different wire gauge and ohms on steam engine I'm a little lost to be honest so thought I would ask you guys

for the dripper: ud Clapton wire 26+32ga, 7 wraps around a 3mm jig put the left leg in the top hole and the right leg in the bottom, spin the base round and repeat pulse fire the coil use tweezers to pinch together then rake them to ensure its glowing evenly from the centre out on both coils evenly (works out at 0.3 ohm great at 40w, if you prefer higher then make it 9 wraps for 0.5 ohm and drop down to between 27 and 30 watts) then wick load and wait a 30 seconds before sticking the cap on and chugging should give a good few pulls before it dries out and needs re-soaking, great build for testing trial flavours on and lots of clouds oh you can get the same wire from other places if you don't have any and cant be faffed with making your own, alternatively there's plenty of vids on YT or just buy pre made coils from FT for the steam crave I have no idea don't own one and apparently I might need some healing if I buy more kit although they sound nice

Build the coils high in the aromamizer, they need to be up level with the top post holes Try the 26g wire as a decent all rounder and wrap around a 3mm former. Make sure the deck actually lines up with the air holes, some earlier velocity models had air holes that never properly lined up. When you look through the air hole you should be able to see between the posts and out the air hole on the other side.

Aromamizer - I have 3: 26g, 7/8 wraps spaced. 2.5mm. It's all in the wicking.

6 wraps per coil of 24g on a 3mm or 2.5mm rod is by far the most used build i do, comes in somewhere around .3 to .35ohms.
i'll do some fancy builds if i can be bothered but that's my go to quick and simple job.

A little guide On this one the coils (being soft nickel) have dropped a little Better seen in this pic but it gives you a good idea of what you're looking for, your coils won't be nearly as long as these, they're 12 wrap nickel

Admittedly, I can only see one angle.... The coil nearest the front on the lower pic appears to be clean for a few wraps. Is that just optical? Like, maybe it looks the same from the other side?

blakey I just use the top post holes these days it avoids dropping and you have almost no legs. All the build I like on the Aromamizer are horizontal using only the top connection holes, 2 mm inner diameter, 8 - 10 Wraps. They go from 0.03 Ω (9 wraps 0.4 Ni200) to 0.26 Ω (0.4 mm SS316L), but my favourite is 0.05 Ω 3 x 0.2 mm strands of Ni200 twisted 9 wraps. A lot of mods wont fire the really low Ni200 builds I like, but Ti comes out at 0.19 Ω (0.4 mm 9 wraps). still going strong, must have rewicked 20 or 30 times now. SS316L 0.4 mm 0.26 Ω (the twists on the top are doing nothing)

It's been sitting unused for about a week, they are the same on both sides. The issue is that there is too much wick not allowing air to the ends and I couldn't be bothered to trim it Part of the reason there is too much wick is because the coils have dropped a couple of mm due to the nature of ni200 being a soft metal. I just took a quick pic to help cruella.
