After being a bit disappointed with the battery life of some of the off the shelf DNA200 mods I decided to take the plunge with a Stealthvape NTS G3 battery case ( facia and 510) are already milled/ drilled. I picked this case as it will hold the Turnigy Nano-Tech 1300mah 3's I wanted to utilise in this mod. No real problems with the build, a couple of things need a bit of fettling, the USB slot needed a bit of filing and the 510 holes comes drilled out at 8.5mm, so required opening out to 10mm. The acrylic frame for supporting the Evolv chip that came as a kit from Stealthvape was fantastic, and just makes the job easier Imo Buttons are brass, and there a link further down the page concerning the Evolv chip to the correct ones to go for, I went for slightly extended versions. Overall very happy, just setting it up now and doing the initial charge ( as lipo's usual come with a storage charge) A few pics Very nice build. I am sure you just put those photo's up like that to get my OCD going....LOL.

That looks stunning car147, love the colour. Never really got the bug for a DNA200, but have a notion for a twin parallel box with the new 75w chip. Might have a go at one in the near future.

Did you used the raised buttons car147 ? Yes striker42, they protrude about 2mm and have a good feel about them. I went for the Brass protruding version.

GrandadI am getting over a day now using the Turnigy Nano-tech 1300mah at 38-43w dual coil virtually chain vaping and is a big improvement on my HCigar VT200, it may even increae a bit further yet as lipo's do improve slightly from new before decreasing again with use over time.

Yes Grandad, Hobbyking UK HereJust make sure if you order from them that it is the UK site, as if it's the global site that's China which is fine but like FT 2-3wks before you get the item. I used Hobbyking for all my R/C stuff over the year's and those packs are pretty good for the loads we used to put through them.

Cheers Yup mine came with a XT60 connector on it which as its name suggests is rated to 60amp, and way above what's required. I ordered XT 30 connectors (male and Female) for the batt/board power connection. (but only do this if you know what your doing, and only ever cut one lead at a time from the battery, as shorting it at all will result in the pack venting. not to mention the damage and injury that could be caused. You will need a decent balance charger for the lipo, you don 't really need to cycle the battery as it will come with a storage charge on it (usually 3/4 charged) you would need to set it up as follow's 3's 11.1v 1300mah and Balance charge using the port and balance charging lead from the battery so as it can monitor the process. But apart from being slower there's no harm charging through the on board circuit via the USB, it's just slower. If you already know about all of the above that's great, if not it may be better just to charge as normal through the USB.

Just been out in the garage looking for the lipo plugs for my charger all found but i have never used the charger for lipos as i used nihm cells for racing so big read up first. Didnt know about the connectors so will order a set from mod maker, i appreciate the dangers of the cells more so with lipos i used to build my own matched cells from scratched had a few scary moments to. Would you recommend 1 full charge on the mains charger then i normally use the usb one to charge with ? Im assuming i will have to put in diffrent settings for the battery in escribe too ? Thanks car147
