After being a bit disappointed with the battery life of some of the off the shelf DNA200 mods I decided to take the plunge with a Stealthvape NTS G3 battery case ( facia and 510) are already milled/ drilled. I picked this case as it will hold the Turnigy Nano-Tech 1300mah 3's I wanted to utilise in this mod. No real problems with the build, a couple of things need a bit of fettling, the USB slot needed a bit of filing and the 510 holes comes drilled out at 8.5mm, so required opening out to 10mm. The acrylic frame for supporting the Evolv chip that came as a kit from Stealthvape was fantastic, and just makes the job easier Imo Buttons are brass, and there a link further down the page concerning the Evolv chip to the correct ones to go for, I went for slightly extended versions. Overall very happy, just setting it up now and doing the initial charge ( as lipo's usual come with a storage charge) A few pics

Thanks all, i think a DNA 200 squonker could be the next project... Top man, got the bug, I have seen nice ones made from the Steam Crave squonker and the Realueax and the DNA 75 is worth considering because it can run from an 18650.

Thanks pacman, at least it turned out better than my previous attempt on a DNA40 which ended up releasing the magic smoke lol,

Nice work. Feels good dunit when you know you've made it. It sure does @windows, i actually quite enjoyed it. Its nothing fancy but functional for what i wanted it to do which was just give a decent vape time before needing recharged. The Hcigar VT200 i use was really starting to bug me with around 5 hrs before it needed charged again, so i may even switch the board out, keeping the chassis and create something else at a later date,i did have a look at some of the Shapeways stuff but still not sure if i will go that route.

that's rather nice , top job tbh I'm not overly keen on the shapeways stuff but I think half the prob is in my last job I could get use of just about any tool known to man and want to build my own case
