Ive just sat down and looked into it properly and that battery wont fit i have a centre 510 yours is to one side damn it wont go in back to the drawing board

You can get the XT30 connectors from Hobbyking whilst ordering the lipo, maybe an idea to check the specs on the measurements for the pack just to make sure it will fit. The onboard charging is more than adequate and Evolv have done a pretty good job with it, the only difference an external charger would make is it could charge the battery a bit quicker, or you have two packs, so one can charge whilst the other's in use.

Mostly i just use one of those Griffin 1amp USB chargers which does the job.

You will need to hook up to Escribe and once the Mod's downloaded the info click on the Mod tab -Manufacturer settings-Watt Hour calculator

Enter 1300 for battery cell capacity, Nominal voltage should be the same at 11.1. Press ok and it should display your battery has a capacity of 14.43 wh. Remember to upload settings back to your mod, disconnect from Evolv once that's done and your good to go.

StealthVape have some VariTube V1 shorter and better that Flabby Daddy connectors that will give you a good few more mm in the case.

StealthVape have some VariTube V1 shorter and better that Flabby Daddy connectors that will give you a good few more mm in the case.

Yes those are the ones, 10.5 mm from the bottom of the top plate or outside of case to the bottom of the connector + a little for the wire.  I took a pic, but postimage is having a moment, i'll post it later if I remember.

car147 ok got my battery and xt30 connectors today and new 510 it will all fit woo hoo, one problem i have two lipo chargers but must of thrown the balance leads away as never needed them for my racing.

Does it need a full charge on a charger or can i charge through the usb if so i may be able to get my local model shop to charge it for me.

So annoyed i didnt keep them plugs

My charger doesn't need balance leads the one from the battery plugs straight in the side.

Looks like you may be able put the plug in the top end as it is in the pic Grandad, make sure you set it to 3S 11.1 V first. If not you may still be able to fast charge then balance on your DNA.

Not a problem car147 got into the top of my garage where all my old rc stuff is and forgot about this little gem in a box all sorted, Hopefully get it done over the weekend  VapingBad
