Spread the Kayfun love

Where's all the Kayfun love gone?  This morning for the first time in about a year I wrapped a few coils around a piece of silica and stuck it in my KFL+, around 1.3 ohms on an iStick.  The flavour is insane, the most flavoursome vape I have had in a LONG time.  I had completely forgotten how good these really are.  
For the last week Ive been using a couple of TFV4s and a couple of Subtanks and really enjoyed the whole sub ohm madness that comes with that but, it really has been fun producing my own personal cloudy foggy atmosphere, and the flavour from these tanks is also really nice.  The coil heads on both tanks work really well, with the TFV4 producing HUGE amounts of vapour no matter what coil is in it and the Subtank not too far behind.  Both are excellent for flavour as well.
Back to the Kayfun.  While it doesn't produce nearly the same amount of vapour, it beats both hands down on the intensity of the flavour.  Its a gorgeous warm rich vape that really can't be beaten for taste.  So wheres all the Kayfun love gone?  Am I missing something that all the cloud chasers are getting that I am not?  From todays experience Im failing to see any advantages that the sub ohm tanks have over an old kayfun with a silica wick and wonder if its not just another case of the Emperors new clothes?

I still use 1 daily its my No1 tank for MTL.
Been a while since Ive built 1 with a silica wick though.
The only down side of these little beauts is the fill method, even with a kayfill tool it still sucks compared to more up to date no tool tank fills.
Ive modded my kayfuns to easy fill by gluing the chimney to the top cap.
Just unscrew and fill it up.

So much love here too. I have tried and wasted so much money on so many other tanks but always come back to my trusty Kayfuns. 1 ohm micro coil with cotton or rayon is my favourite build for them.

Fell in love be with the new Mini V3 but dropped it this week and broke the glass tank so waiting on spares.

Fave setup at the moment is the Kayfun V4 on Provari P3 1ohm micro coil with Rayon at 13 watts.

I have at least 4 kayfun lights, 3 Kayfun Mini and another on it's way! The only problem I have is the nic levels, with sub ohm tanks (yes I do have one or two) I only use 6mg but in the Kayfuns I usually have 12mg and with the TPD upcoming it's a bit of a worry!

The kayfun deck is making a comeback. A few newer atties are using the simple style. I bought the sxk wine from thebishman a few days ago. Using a vape band to partially block the holes, as it's a bit airy for me, it's a kayfun meets subtank. Has the same filling, and the easy trap screw placement.
The ks style atomizer also matches the kayfun for flavour. Leak free and a doddle to coil n wick. My number one, with the wine second and the kayfun when I can be arsed.

I still have all my kayfuns but most of my mtl vaping is with a CLR coil in an egrip

No loss of love for the kayfuns Vape but they aren't pocket friendly

I use a monster with a bell cap or nano cap in a LPG every day for dog walks. Fits in the condom pocket on my jeans. Don't know anything more pocket friendly...

Whilst being surrounded by subohmage, there's a KFL sitting in quiet contemplation on top of a Provari in the back. Still filled with red astaire. Every now and again it gets a toot or ten, as you say it doesn't gas up the room but the flavour is full and chewy. Nice to vape it and recall life pre-subohm

Got a kaufunalike+, my first RTA, still use it on occasion and keep a 1.2oHm coil built in it ready to wick if I bust/need to recoil/break any of my Lemos!

KFL+ I love and have not changed in a year (apart from buy more KFL+ clones)

It's simple and it works

Just don't remind me of when I took a KFL+ to an edinburgh vape meet without a kayfil on my keyring (or even in my possesion)

Kayfuns will never die!!!
