The juice holes on the Griffin don't line up dead center if I remember correctly. They line up in pairs. On the left hole you see the inside of the left juice channel, on the right you see the inside of the right juice channel.

I use 30/70 PG/VG juice in my Griffins, and Puff cotton pads or Vaping Bacon v2, whichever is nearest to hand. I trim the wicks about 5 mm longer than the ring, which I leave in position. using nail scissors, I then trim the cotton to a point, and gently push behind the ring with a small flatblade jewellers screwdriver. I have 3mm ID Claptons in, so cut a strip of cotton about 8mm wide, and peel off one side before rolling and offering to the coil. I hope you get the results you are looking for, as personally speaking I am delighted with the Griffins, and with three in the stable now I am not currently looking for any other tanks. Oh, wait one, how did that VCMT from Focalecig get into my basket? What, it's been despatched already, and is winging its way from Germany as we speak? I've only got it because it holds 6ml of juice, honest' guvnor! Keep us posted

Yep, a broken clock is right twice a day. Well glad you got sorted regardless!

I cant stop the fecker leaking....lost a bloody nice tank for this. from a tank that wouldn't flow to one that won't stop. I take it you have tried with the coil closer to the deck and making sure that the wick is clear of the air flow? I found my first one leaked right from the first fill, all of the seals were stuck solid when I stripped it down to clean before use. I never gave it athought and just gave them a smear of juice before reassembly. Turned out to be the chimney to main chamber seal causing loss of vacuum. When my second one arrived a week later again it was stuck solid and the seals were distorted, I replaced all of them straight off and its never leaked. And there is this from anon4 once it was in my mind I really had to resist giving mine the hammer treatment earlier.

Is this the Griffin 25, or the earlier version?

mine? mine were 'early' 22mm ones ordered in January, almost definitely the second production/stock run because they were pre-order after the initial retail lot had sold out. Also remember they seemed to be from different production batches. #1 had silver grubscrews that rounded off in the first couple of builds #2 had black hardened? steel (magnetic) grubscrews that made the allen key look like it was made from toffee. $1 for a bag of 2.5x2mm grub screws from FT that have not shown any signs of wear yet

Grrrrr Well I've had the griffin 25 spilling juice the last few days. So I've now wicked it the same as a few above here have with the ring off first and making the wicks a bit longer. Only did it this evening but so far so good. Hopefully that's the end of that

Yeah I got a Griifin 25 today , just tried a single coil at first and it spewed its guts while standing after the first toke. Rebuilt it with twin Claptons coming out at 0.16ohm so far so good, still not a patch on the Aromamizer though.

the modded Griffin is still going well, I rebuilt with a pair of nichrome 26/32 claptons for 0.4 ohms. I've emptied a couple of tanks today, plenty of vapour, flavour.. hmm I chickened out of putting a straight custard in but a bottle of homebrew Yorkshire Vaper Rustard was close to hand. omg it is a lot sharper in the Griffin than my Aeronaut which gives a more balanced sweet vape.

I'm sitting here dripping a Plume Veil with dual 3mm 6-wrap .6mm coils, Scottish Roll wicking, and TBH even at 80w it's not performing much better than my Griffins with dual Claptons in - once the Griffiin is sitting pretty, it's hard to beat in my book.
