Don't smash it mate just try that. Symptoms include juice flow that spins too loosely and the mentioned wobble. If not you just don't know how to tame the beast. It does wick with love and care I promise! It's a little more delicate than other tanks if you use the thick stuff though these wick stuffers can't be using real juice lol. I use 7 wrap dual 26g/32g claptons at 80w and it's a real treat. I take my wicks and roll them up a bit, this lets me cut them a bit thicker and have more cotton in the coil. This keeps it saturated longer as it holds more juice. Like a simplified Scottish roll

anon4 I can't even leave it in the box, let alone smash it..haha. I've done the opening out and rolling a thin layer a-la-Scottish roll Not going to give up with it, I've just got half way down the chamber and its vaping miles better than when it was 1/2-3/4 full. Shame that I probably have as much juice in my Aeronaut as there is in the Griff right now. I don't add water to my juice either, the VG percentage is what it says on my label. Seem to remember my last shop bought juice being a lot thinner...there must be some proper pish masquerading as high-vg

I don't open the pad out, I just cut a bit thicker and roll it up so it fits, I don't see any point in scottish roll it's just OCD imo. Keep at it I hated mine at first too. And it's not that the shop bought isn't high vg it's probably high in flavoring which is normally in pg base or they add a little distilled water so noobs don't complain of burnt hits

I should have put watery in front of that. VG(aq) is 10_15% water? plus up to 20‰ flavours. I suppose ready made has to be a lot more user friendly for stock coils. jeez I remember not so long ago cursing Kanger OCC heads because they rolled over and died with some of the thicker (70%) premium juices.

My wicking. It expands when wet, when trimming the ends look a lot thinner than that. Let them fluff themselves up

You'll get it mate Ive had no problem with max vg for months now. Liked them that much I've just got a few 25mm. Now the 25 is a beast Up to 200w with claptons. Larger juice channels, more air and wow does it kick butt

Just get a dripper less faff NO. Tanks are good. In fact I get better flavor off a tank than most drippers I tried. Smaller chamber seems to benefit. Have yet to try a bottom airflow rda though

Get the Dremmel out SteveF. Open the juice channels up a bit. If it's a dud, you have nothing to lose. Dry hits are caused by wick problems, and if you have tried all wicking options and stll get them, you need to improve the juice flow.

Have yet to try a bottom airflow rda though Top airflow drippers produce better flavour for me. Elegant Vapour have the Vector on sale for £24.95 instead of the usual £45, still my favourite flavour dripper. Good amount of airflow but bang on flavour. I knocked the spitback mesh guard out of mine. www.elegantvapour.co.uk/vector-rda-authentic.html

Just get a dripper less faff I taken to using an Aeronaut with a parallel Clapton, much less faff until it comes to the refill. Traffic light dripping isn't ideal though. just refuse to be beaten by a damned tank which so far really hasn't lived up to expectations.

with a delicate touch and a chainsaw sharpening file I opened out the juice holes to the full width of the juice wells ...although as before they only line up dead centre in one position me thinks my £13 bargains from a well known supplier must have been seconds. How else can a symetrical deck not line up with a cylinder with symetrical holes?
