Ummmmm a similar number Karma tbh I haven't really got a full count as I can't lift the storage box down off the top of my wardrobe at the moment though I can't match your boot count as I only have 5 pairs of boots however in the shoe caddy in the hallway where I keep my day to day shoes I have 8 pairs of sandals, 3 pairs of Go Walks, 2 pairs of trainers and 2 pairs of suede slip on mules. In one of my wardrobes are my "best" shoes which are about 6 pairs of court shoes, and 2 pairs of evening sandals. In the box on top of the wardrobe I would estimate there to be in excess of 20 pairs of various sandals, flats, court shoes, trainers and mules.

Edited to add: I forgot the 2 pairs of sandals I use around the house as slippers, the crocs under my desk and 2 pairs of canvas slip on's also under the desk.

Wellies - 7 pairs in assorted colours/leg lengths.

Boots - 19 pairs ( must try harder! )

Shoes/Sandals - 33 pairs.


So, not too bad really  . . . . despite what the narsty Removal man said when he came to pack my shoes not so long ago.

5 pairs of boots, 2 smart shoes, 3 casual shoes, 4 pairs of flip flops and about 7 pairs of trainers. I've actually got more shoes than the mrs lol

I had a pair similar to them when I was in my early teens (quilted hunter boots) fantastic for frosty morning ride, they didn't last more than about 3 mnths though before they went on a bonfire due to wear n tear ....

my OH had 60 pairs of assorted shoes and sandles that went in the donation bags last year when clearing out a cupbard she's down to a much more sensible 15 pairs of shoes 6 pairs of boots 2 pairs of wellies and 3 pairs of sandals now ... I have 3 pairs of shoes since the clearout where I got rid of 9 pairs of surplus footwear as well

possibly with the new generation, not that up on hunters any more, but back in the early 90's they were still waterproof even though they were padded(outer layer being gortex) and actually warmer than moonboots in the sub zero air
