Thought this might be of interest as it's been unavailable for a time . . . . for anyone missing that ' kick ' higher nic strengths have:

I too have seen this and if I remember rightly when it was known as bite extra there were a few reviews on it saying it was too harsh. Let's hope this is better so hopefully someone is already testing it
Thing is though if you want more of a hit it does get harsher so maybe people are after something that you can't have ?

I'm happy to vape Red Astaire @ 0% nic but miss that 'kick' with something a bit more subtle.

Just placed a concentrate order with them & popped some of this in the basket to see how i on get on with it.

Thing is though if you want more of a hit it does get harsher so maybe people are after something that you can't have ?

Possibly used at too high a ratio or with a reasonable nic strength/highish PG already pacman?

The eliquid strengths and blends we now use or make have changed quite considerably since subohming became as popular as it is, so it will be interesting to have more current feedback.

Looks like 300 is going to be our forum guinea pig.

Only 0mg nic for Red Astaire, made some up for my Sister, tried it myself & liked it.

Everything else is 18mg, RY4 Nutzilla is what i'm most familiar with so that'll be my benchmark.

Gawd knows what i'll do with my nic stash if this stuff is any good.

Today i started vaping my first batch of 0% nic RY4 Nutzilla with 3% Flash Hit (BiteXtra) 50% PG / 50% VG

Usually vape this juice at 18mg so it's a big jump.

Initial thoughts are 3% might not be enough for me, throat hit is a bit lacking, it's more of a tingling sensation than full on throat hit but i may get accustomed to it.

Biggest surprise so far is how sharp/clean the flavour is compared to my 18mg mix but i suspect that might say more about my nic base than the Flash Hit.

Will i suffer withdrawal symptoms? Not sure, it's only day 1 & i intend to run with it till the weekend.

I already vape Red Astaire & other flavours of that ilk at 0% nic but they're only occasional breaks from my ADV.

That's funny, my vaping mate and myself were talking only last week about lowering our nic to 2mg from 3mg (I mix all his juice for him as well as for myself, splitting everything I make down the middle). I believe I have some BiteExtra from a couple of years ago in my mixing box, may have to knock up a little sample of 0mg with some of this in to see if it makes enough difference.
From past experience, I was a bit too much of the slave to a recipe, and I wonder if I used too much, but I remember it gave me a tight chest and sore throat. Perhaps I'll try much lower percentages until I find a happy medium between tightness and throat hit!

Funny you should say that chykensa , i woke up this morning with a sore throat, didn't last long though, felt OK by the time i left for work & been OK all day.

Long slow MTL inhales seem to be working best for me, the short blasts i take now & again at work just don't cut it, different set up may be required for work but gonna run it 'as is' till the weekend.

Been away on holiday so a little late with my update....

I stuck with this till the weekend with no real nic cravings.

Flavour compared to my usual 18mg mix was cleaner/more pronounced.

Throat hit is more of a tingling sensation than a kick to the back of the throat.

Had a sore throat each morning but this had significantly diminished by day 5 & had always cleared before leaving for work.

Wick & coil seemed a little less gunked up than i would have expected after 5 days use.


So, did i stick with this?.... No

I missed the harsh edge that my nic base adds to the flavour & of course i missed the throat hit, add to that the fact that i have enough nic base in the freezer to last me 2 lifetimes, i have no sense of urgency to change anything.

If i had no choice i'm sure it would be a relatively painless exercise to adapt to Flash Hit over a period of time but as it stands i like my vape the way it is.

Bought in premade juice from John at Flavourart.
Not telling what strength it was though, would frighten some people.

I do know of 2 vapers, one a Vendor who used to use 54mg! Whether they still do I wouldn't know as haven't seen them in an age.

But it kept them from smoking, so that's all that matters really - for anyone.
