Hey Guys Its been a long time since i posted on the forums. I have had a bit of disaster with batteries in the last 24 hours, a istick broke and my mvp3 wont read any tanks! I am having to use an old istick for the next few days that is taped together as a screw came out of the base. This is where i should have back ups for back ups! Ive not had much luck with isticks and i think it is probably time to switch to something better ( that wont break so quickly!) but have lost track of what is good in the market now. I've been using sub ohm tanks at around 20-40w. Ideally i would like something with a built in battery but i am sure i still have a battery charger hidden somewhere from a while back but the whole battery stuff i find very confusing. I dont want to buy the wrong type etc I'd say my budget is around the £50 mark What do you guys recommend ? will need to be UK based as i dont know how long this istick will hold out for!

If your mvp aint reading your tanks, have you prodded the pin at the bottom of the hole you screw your tank into? Just in case that's stuck down and not making contact

As lee said..you might find the contact pin has stuck down so its not making contact. With it turned off...get something thin and gently lever the contact up a little. Then try it!

If your mvp aint reading your tanks, have you prodded the pin at the bottom of the hole you screw your tank into? Just in case that's stuck down and not making contact I had a play around with it last night for ages and i couldn't get it to work at all. I have just had another poke and have managed to get it to read a tank but dont know how long it will stay like that as it has been not very reliable in the past. I often just kept it in my bag as a charger for the istick as it wouldn't always read tanks or the ohms would jump about like mad. Typical, that it works after i make this thread but still think i need something that is reliable and wont cause me stress like last night!

It is now not reading the tank, even though it hasn't been unscrewed. I think it was just luck that it worked for the short amount of time. Will have to make a decision before the end of the day what mod i want

I have moved to built in batteries too! I was terrified of buying the wrong type or getting fakes etc.
There's a few on the market now.
Coolfire 4+ Kanger kbox 70 Smok r80 Tesla nano 60w Tesla nano 100w
They all have great battery life. The tesla 60w gets a lot of love, I do t think I've seen a bad word about it. Same with the coolfire 4 plus (not the basic coolfire 4, that's has half the battery of the plus).
