Hi dear fellow vapers I have a problem with my trusty Koopor Plus. The display has gone so dim that I can't even see to rectify the problem. I have checked that Stealth mode isn't on, and have even downloaded the User Manual in an attempt to sort out the brightness, if there is an option for this.
If anyone here has a Koopor Plus, would they please be prepared to sit down with it for a couple of minutes and log the number of button presses to get to the contrast screen, and then which button (+ or -) to adjust to its brightest, and then post here so that I can try it 'blind'!? I would be most grateful, and would love to know what battery life I have left rather than having to remove the batteries and pop them in the charger!
Many thanks in advance
Andy B

Its the second one along for the settings and hold the fire button to select the screen settings, then the second one along for the brightness, the up or down button to adjust the brightness.

Fallen Angel, thanks a lot, trying it now . . . Well, not sure what I've done, but it's not working at all now!! It's set on wattage mode, but when I press the fire button, something shows on the screen but I can't see what, and it's not firing as it should. Think I'll have to wait until it's dark outside and see if I can make out the display then!

Just a thought - can I reset the factory settings? I have nothing in the memories that I can't reset, and that might clear the new fault

I'll take the batteries out overnight and see if it resets itself. Bit of a pain as it's my favourite mod at the moment

chykensa - can you not plug it into USB and re-flash the firmware - that might reset it ? (I don't have one but I'm sure I read its firmware upgradeable)

My Koopor mini has always been very dim, seems like a common problem, I can only read mine when I'm indoors. That and the ramp up time are it's 2 biggest failings

Well, I left the batteries out overnight, and the screen is now almost completely gone. I had a spare slot this morning and popped into cornishliquids and I'm now the proud owner of a blue IPV5. I love the simplicity (who honestly uses a puff counter!?), and have already ordered a sleeve to protect it in daily use. My experience with mods to date is that 6 months of daily but not exclusive use is about the average in lifespan. A bit cheeky really, bearing in mind the fact that they are solid state and there's not really enough to go really wrong apart from the 510, buttons and chip/screen. Ah well, another new toy to enjoy!
