Kangertech 2.2, 2.5 Ohm coils & Black Hyper tank 5ml

Hi guys,

Here I have a few bits that won't be used by me so they are up for sale.

Brand new sealed 5ml Hyper tank in black with 2 coils in the box.
Also comes with 9 x 2.2 Ohm Kanger coils and 3 x 2.5 Ohm Kanger coils which fit the Hyper tank.

The Kanger coils will also fit Kanger Evod, Protank, Protank 2, Protank Mini V1 and V2.

Arrived today mate. Thank you for being so quick. Can i use that on any mod, will the mod know what ohm it is. Sorry for my ignorance. Just getting into sub ohm and didn't realise this wasn't sub ohm. I use a Koopor mini just now till my new one arrives.

Yes Stomper , it will work with the Koopor Mini in VW Mode. The regulated mod, will know what the resistance is. You will need however to set the Power(W) to suit.

Kooper Mini Spec.s:

Output Power: 1W-60W
Resistance Range: 0.06Ω—2.0Ω (TC Mode)
0.1Ω—3.0Ω (VW Mode)

Jeez man , so much to take in. Can hardly make out the screen never mind work out which setting is which. I'll have a wee play with it and see if i can figure it out.

Stomper , Your Koopor Mini has 2 modes... one for temperature control(TC), one for variable wattage (VW). IMHO stick to VW mode for the moment while getting to grips with things.
You can adjust that mod from 1W to 60W. With the coils above you're probably going to want to try running it between 5W and 10 W range.

Hi Stomper, sorry just got home from work.
Pleased the bits turned up quickly for you

As siad, the tank should work with most regulated mods and the coils won't work in TC mode so stick with VW and you will be fine.
Just start low and work your way up. IIRC I used to vape these coils around 13-16W and they were quite nice and don't use lots of juice like sub ohming will and should give lots of battery life as well

Did not know you were waiting on sub ohm stuff otherwise I would have mentioned it matey

Give the tank a whirl and let me know what you think

Thanks Mark , no worries mate . Just didn't want to use it and knacker it. Out my depth slightly. As per, the guys on here and yourself have been brilliant.

The Hypertank/Protank/Evod types are still in daily use in my vaping world Stomper . . . . I enjoy not subohming exclusively.

Once you get to grips with the slightly different style of vaping I hope you enjoy it also.

Those coil heads are a doddle to re-coil, I use ready coils from Fasttech - if you fancy having a go shoot me a PM with your address and I'll pop a pack in the post to you.

Cant get used to this tank, last night after first filling it I took a massive hit of burntness and it was awful , that was at 10 watts. Tried changing the coil this morning and as long as I don't have more than 3 or 4 puffs its ok but after that the burning returns . Also once its screwed on to the mod the air holes in the screw are covered so having to leave it partially unscrewed to get some air flow . Am I just stupid or am I missing something. Also is it safe for it not to be screwed tight, I imagine that could cause some arcing.

Stomper, If it's too hot/burning at 10W, go down to 5W then to start with. Also after filling, give it a few minutes to soak up into the coil.
At the voltages that we use there shouldn't be any arcing.
I'm not familiar with the tank/mod to comment on airflow.
