stressederic what kind of wattage are you putting through them? I reckon I could get one in my Aeronaut, although it will take a fair sized parallel it can get rather warm 70w+ And the fishbone cap looks great, I reckon it will stop any juice making its way past the seals and down to the base

I need to get some clapton wire to try on my tsunami, whilst checking wire gauges i came across a thead from ECF from 3 years ago, haha we had no clue back then how this would take off!

all nichrome, fused 26g/32g c/w 24g reads 0.21ohm, 100w no problem. Not sure if I'd want to fire up a pair though.

It is not as hot as you would think and the fishbone cap does seem to be doing a great job. It doesn't get particularly hot and i have not had a leak as yet.

It is not as hot as you would think and the fishbone cap does seem to be doing a great job. It doesn't get particularly hot and i have not had a leak as yet. I noticed that it doesn't get as hot as expected, 100w really cuts out ramp up, so a pair must be rocking at 200w in the Tsunami.

The only problem I am finding in tsunami is getting the wicking to keep up as there is not a lot of space for cotton without blocking the airholes. 150w seems to be the limit without having to redrip after each puff!
