Hi I've a friend who I think is allergic to pg base juices as her throat gets sore and blistered when she does. So I've bought her some vg juice to try. So far so good As vg juice is very thick most tanks are no good to her. And as she's a beginner she can't make her own coils etc to use sub ohm tanks which wud be fine for thicker juices. Any suggestions on a tank she can use with thicker juices that doesn't require rebuilding coils? Thanks

You could also try diluting the pre-made down a little xtc263 with either vodka or purified/distilled water . . . . . that would help wicking with whatever tanks your friend currently has. I'm PG sensitive and only use VG heavy/VG eliquid and don't have any problems - the warmer temperatures we currently have also help with the viscosity.

My wife suffers from exactly the same thing. After a lot of searching around on the internet I finally managed to find a place that sells vg base only flavours www.justvape247.com/vg-concentrates-75-c.asp and they also do a glycerine / distilled water premix liquid www.justvape247.com/aqueous-glycerine-ag-select-size-14776-p.asp if you're into diy. Almost all liquids have at least a small amount of PG to carry the flavour and I've found this is the only way to completely eliminate it. Also the iclear 30s works well with vg heavy liquids, still a decent tank even if a little archaic and less than a tenner each so won't break the bank either. Also the coils last forever. Hope this helps.

I've bought a couple from the new range at Chefs that @broadblaster has linked to - in the hope that they'll be better than some of the other VG based concentrates I've tried.

What % flavouring do u use in diy? With pg being the flavour carrier I'd imagine i'd need to use a high % of vg to get a descent flavoured juice. Checked out the vg concentrated on chefs. Gonna order the pink candy - burst type and see wat it's like. Though when googled it's recommended between 7-9%. I'd have thought that a bit low with a vg flavour concentrate?

I'll tell my mate to order herself one and I'll make her some 100% vg juice. And hope that sorts her out and keeps her off the ciggies!!! Thanks for ur help

A 5 or 10ml tester at 15 to 20% would be probably the best way forward, just so you don't waste to much.

Generally, anything between 15-30% so a pretty wide spectrum in all honesty xtc263. . . . I always take a ' lick ' test of neat concentrate as my starting point to see how intense the flavour appears to my personal tastes - it's no more than a guide, but it works better for me than what someone else who doesn't have my taste buds suggests. I'd be inclined to make several small testers as joeten says - starting at 10% perhaps.
