You've some shopping to be catching up on now! Regarding shopping, are there any fasttech dissy code / sales anytime soon ... I simply MUST have an istick pico 75 You're a day too late @yinyang . . . . yesterday DAD gave 10% off all Ecig gear! It's still a good price without a code though.

You are a one-woman weapon of mass destruction Yeah, OU is a really great way to study as you can spread the cost out over several years and doing a typical 60 unit module each year costs around £950. An Honours degree (I am studying for a Bsc (Hons) in Mathematics) requires 360 units so the overall cost over 6 years is less than £6K which is less than most universities charge in fees each year. If you are on any sort of means tested benefit such as housing or council tax benefit, your fees are paid in full so it's a great way for the less well off (like me lol) to study for free.

Thanks Raffles ... it's great to be back mate Can I ask @yinyang, as you say we are of mature years, why did you feel the need to study such a subject? I've also looked at OU courses and thought 'what's the point', but you may change my mind

Thanks Raffles ... it's great to be back mate Can I ask @yinyang , as you say we are of mature years, why did you feel the need to study such a subject? I've also looked at OU courses and thought 'what's the point', but you may change my mind I wanted to have something in common with the beautiful Rachel Riley if my dreams ever came true No, seriously, it was the only subject that I was interested in and any way good at in school but I never got the chance to take beyond "O" level stage. When I retired, I looked into the OU and thought "why not give it a go now that you have time on your hands and no kids to support"? So that is what I did ... it is hard work but very rewarding and mathematics is such a beautiful subject when you get below the surface.

I never really liked Math, I could do it most of the time and had a few things I found a challenge, yet went out later and did a Capstan Lathe course which involved a goodly amount of Math also found I did not want to do it for the rest of my career.
