Said my final goodbyes to an old friend yesterday...

On 25th May 2015 (last year) I mixed myself 100ml of Chefs rebranded Vanilla Mint (@12%), it's a good to go concentrate and tasted just fine, but after a couple of tanks the mint side of it seemed a little lacking so I gave it a shot of menthol, it was back to it's lovely self
 

A couple of tanks later it began to get very harsh so I topped it up with VG (it was originally 50/50), the same thing happened again a few days later, another VG topup cured it. 

After a couple more episodes like this the juice was getting quite thick, so on about the 6th topup I added around 40ml PG and again all was well.

To cut a long story short(er) this original 100ml probably has had another 300ml VG/PG added and each time the flavour returned to its original 'niceness'.

But finally yesterday one year and one month after mixing I have used it up, my 'perpetual juice' is no more, I shall miss it tremendously.

Now somewhere in my concs box I have another bottle of that same concentrate (now over a year old), I shall have to mix that one soon and see if it lasts me into 2017




This has to be the best value mix I have ever made

Not quite, after the initial shot of menthol about a year ago all it has had is PG & VG, I've still got the dregs in my tank now and it still tastes good

Found the other bottle of concentrate so I've mixed another batch still using the 'magic' bottle

Hiyas Q I have a sneaky suspicion it was you that mentioned vanilla mint in a thread yonks back and I was rather unsure , however it's turned into one of my favourite adv.
I have to variants that I've made up and both are scrummy.
Version 1
Tpa french vanilla delux 4%
Lt natural mint 4% ( inawera mint mix 2% ) can be used instead
Tpa vanilla bean ice cream 8%
Steep 10 days
Version 2 swap the french vanilla delux for tpa Belgium waffle @4% this is very moreish as well but requires a 3 week steep
