sc00terx, consider what could be done to make life easier. for example, how about mixing in a beaker and then using a small funnel or pipette to fill the little bottles? also, how about a set of scales that don't shut off? or use syringes until you get the hang of it?

I cheat I use single shot concentrate that's supposed to be mixed at 20% that I buy in 10 mill bottles I mix 50 mill at a time meaning I only have to measure the nic juice
so I do the nic 1st in to 50 mill bottle then whack in the 10 mill of concentrate and top of with vg I don't think the druggy scales you get for about £10 dont work well when trying to mix liquids (I have been busted in BnQ using their paint scales lol)

Firstly take a deep breath sc00terx . . . . like most things there's a little trial and error until you get the hang of things. Lots of sound advice on your thread already, I do especially like pipeman01 's - with perhaps using syringes until you get to grips with the process. I never use needles incidentally with syringes as I find them a pain and prefer instead to decant a small amount into a beaker/shot glass then draw up from there. So my mixing routine goes something like this . . . . Decant some Nic base into a beaker - draw up the required amount and add to my bottles. Add my flavours ( pop the dripper top off first ) - with a needless 1ml syringe as that's fine enough to go down the neck of the bottle. Lastly as I only use VG heavy - decant some of that, draw up . . . . and add enough into the bottle until it looks about right. You may want to be more accurate than that! Scales didn't really suit my style of mixing as I only make small volumes of anything, however that's just me and we're different in what suits. You'll get there, just give yourself some time and practice . . . . .

I never really use syringes with needles now.

It obviously works for you also - mixing isn't just about creating an enjoyable eliquid but also about developing your own style ( and confidence ) to my way of thinking.

Agree, of course if it's a fiddly amount of pg at the bottom of a bottle a needle can help suck it up which is about all I would use one for now.

Make up less than the others and that's per day For beakers - plastic shot glasses have served a few of us well for a while - try poundshops? Discount stores Lots of syringes. No needles. I started 5 years ago with full body armour (plastic apron and gloves) - now I don't bother! Simple one shot mixes at first (I never got any further than that LOL) - hope that helps JAne
