I thought it would be interesting to see what people who have been vaping for a while would have liked best when they first started. If you could wind back the clock which would you pick? I've chosen what seem to be the most common/ popular things that are available in starter kits and of course it needs to be something that is easy to use and works well. My thinking is that if enough of us vote we can get a feel for what would be the best things to recommend to new vapers. Maybe we could have a shoot off between the most popular choices as a next step!

I wish the RivaTornadoeGo- type had been around when I first started vaping (with standard cartomizer), I would have saved a fortune in experiments and a lot of frustration. Fox

I agree with carto Titselina, but I wouldn't have had a clue how to use one and would have got in one hell of a confused mess and probably wasted loads of juice!

I wish the multi pack of atties were around when I started vaping, you get to try the most common types and can choose your favs. I voted Vision/stardust because mine go well for me.

Crikey, visions all the way, I went through atties (hated them), cartos (loved them for a while), carto tanks (just love them when they work, but the cartos just keep leaking/going dull and they are soooo much hassle). Then visions have come along..... and I'm like, where have you been all my life LOL

Haha voted visions, as they were the only thing that wasn't around when I started, to my knowledge.

Interesting so far - no votes yet for the most common starter kits I haven't cast a vote yet myself because I still cannot decide what I would really have liked best on day one. Although it wouldn't be my first choice now I have a vision as to which way I am leaning

Although it wouldn't be my first choice now I have a vision as to which way I am leaning most common starter kits would be the cartomiser if the visions lasted and didnt crack then they would be an awesome starter but for me ease of use and least amount of faff would be the imist or cartomiser still looking forward to something that just works

Ok voted visions, the're what I started on and as they are pretty easy, not infallible though, I guess they make it a pretty good starter option. You just want something that works, right? Then you can move on to trying other things ( kid in a sweet shop time)

I didn't vote for them because I haven't tried them, but I suspect Imists aren't getting the love they deserve. I've seen perfectly respectable and sane people who find it difficult to choose between them and Visions.
Possible reasons: slightly higher startup cost, it's a bigger commitment to try one out, and there are fewer outlets so you're likely to be tied one supplier with limited stocks/spares. Not sure how ongoing costs would compare. One of these days when I'm feeling lavish I might try one out.
