So this tale starts with another forum where a member was asking where to find a VGOD Limited Edition asMODus Minikin 120W.
Well i knew somewhere that had them which was 3Fvape, i fancied one for myself so ordered one then did what i believed to be the nice thing and posted on the forum where they could be found.
I know at the very least for a fact one member there ordered one from them AFTER i posted the link because they said so in that thread.
After about 12 days i happen to see this member posting a pic of theirs on the "what's in your hand" thread.
Weird i thought i haven't received even any emails yet let alone the package so i go check on 3Fvape, sure enough my order is still showing as processing.
By this time the item is listed as out of stock on their website so i immediately thought oh crap.
I fire off an email asking what is going on and specifically stating that if they did not have that item in stock that i wanted a refund.
I did that because i found that EVS had stock listed and if 3Fvape weren't going to be shipping my item i wanted to know right away so i could order on EVS before their stock ran out.
I know that 3Fvape take 24 hours to reply to every email so i definitely do not want a back and forth for several days before i get clarification of the status of my order.
I don't just get 1 email from 3Fvape the next day i get 2.
1 email says they have 1 in stock and the other says the item is out of stock but offering to send me an all black version.
So now i'm really annoyed i made it absolutely clear in my first email that if they didn't have that specific one in stock i wanted a refund.
So now i have to send them another email stating once again that no i do not want the black version i want either the version i ordered or i want a refund and of course you have to wait another 24 hours for a reply.
The next day i do get an email saying they don't have the stock and will refund me along with the claim that the issue is as a result of me delaying between putting the item in my cart and checking out and again they ask if i want the black one.
I knew this was absolute bollocks and sent them a link to the thread on the forum in question showing at least one other person ordered hours after i did on the strength of my recommending them and received the item.
That was annoying enough but when i went to EVS to order one sure enough by this time the stock had sold out.
The next day i get another email from 3Fvape saying sorry but some things are beyond their control.
Ok short and sweet lesson 3Fvape.
Processing orders in the order that you receive them is not beyond your control.
Emailing customers to inform them you do not have the stock to fulfill their order is not beyond your control.
Lying to that customer and telling them they delayed checking out and that's the reason is not beyond your control.
Not forcing your customer to go through a multiple day back and forth to get clarification of the status of their order is not beyond your control.
All of the above is firmly within your control.
Here are things i control.
I control clicking the add to basket button, which i did.
I control sending payment for the item, which i did.
Beyond that everything else is your responsibility.
Here are some other things i do control though.
I control where i buy products, i won't be buying from you.
I control what sites i recommend to people, i won't be recommending you.
I control what sites i do product reviews for, i won't be linking to your site in any reviews.
By the way if you had simply replied to my first email with a sorry we don't have stock we've sent you a refund i would have just put it down to one of those things that happens, it would have annoyed me but i would have left it at that.
But when you cock up the order, when you then try and blame that cock up on the customer, when you keep trying to shill them an alternative item despite them making it absolutely clear multiple times they want either the item they ordered or a refund, i'm not putting that down to a simple mistake.

So anyway why the Hoorah for EVS?.
Well the site said out of stock but that doesn't stop me contacting
Bargain Coils via PM and asking if they happen to have any stock not on their site or will be getting further stock in so that's what i did.
The conversation which followed couldn't be more different to the above debacle with 3Fvape.
Katherine was very helpful and pleasant to talk to she explained they would be getting more stock and even offered to hold one to the side for me when they arrived.
So i not only bought the VGOD edition from EVS i also bought a white version too.
And both arrived this morning taking my Minikin tally to 4.
