You're running at too high a voltage for whatever you putting on your Provari James in all probability . . . start on a lower setting.

Well James if those are 1.5 ohm DCT's that is 13 watts you are pushing them to - you are getting into lightbulb territory

Dave is right James, if they are 1.5 ohm DCT's you need to lower your voltage.

Also the juice gets used a hell of a lot quicker which contributes to the carto drying much faster

Using a DC Tank would be a better option James, as that will keep your Carto's wet . . . but you're still in caning territory at 4.4v . . . on the Darwin or with the Kick, between 8-9watts gives a really nice vape. It's a bit like having a fast motor . . . just because it can go at 170mph, it doesn't mean you have to drive at that speed.

i find that certain liquids work better in tanks and vice versa with cartomisers... i have limited my voltage to 4.3 for anything now and have no further problems so far... i have yet to even own or play with an atomiser!

yeah, think so... had a new dct which i have filled twice with same liquid to the top, used in the pv2 at 3.8v ( perfect for the liquid i was using ) and today, bang, smoke coming out of the mouthpiece, totally blew...maybe i am just unlucky think i'll play with some atomisers next.....
