You may need to increase the amount of flavouring as VG is not as good flavour carrier as PG.

I use max vg so basically I only get the pg which the flavours are suspended in. It's definitely smooth and with 3mg nic I find is enough throat hit for me at 80w. When I started I wanted throat hit to be strong, but these days I don't need that much. As far as flavours go in max vg, I find it's all down to a longer steeping time. Some recipes may say like 4 weeks steep yet I often find around 6 weeks will be better in my high vg mixes. I don't buy any pg anymore but that's just the way I like it

IDK, I vape 100% PG, but regularly try PG+VG and don't like the flavour or smog, but I guess and extra 10-20% would be sensible, so form 25% to 27.5%-30% would be a good starting point. It is not exact and probably varies with flavour, less PG and Nic will also affect the flavour. Looking back at the OP you are already at 50:50 so it probably won't be much of a difference going to 30:70 or 40:60, I would just go from 25% flv to 26 or 27%. Nic is probably more the issue for you if you are at 50:50, increasing your VG will probably help as well. I would mix some 10 mg and some 0 mg, let them steep then you can easily combine them to quickly get 3 mg, 6 mg or anything below 10 mg. Just use a ml of the 10 mg for every 10 ml to get 1 mg nic strength EG 20 ml of 6 mg would be 12 ml of 10 mg + 8 ml of 0 mg.

Yes I'd certainly think so Stomper . . . . all my mixes are VG heavy as I'm PG sensitive and I use exactly the same flavour ratios as I do when mixing for friends who can tolerate it. The secret ( I think ) is giving a VG heavy mix plenty of time to steep - I rarely use anything dessert based especially until after 3 months of making it. It is a common error again in IMO to over flavour such a mix, when all it actually needs is more steeping time - so in that respect VG doesn't carry flavour as well as PG, but time solves. ( So I'm going to disagree just a little with VapingBad . ) ETA: You'll find opinions varying on most things Stomper . . . . . ultimately it boils down to trial and error and seeing what suits your tastes best.

But using high vg also increases steeping time I've found. Flavours come out well in vg but it just takes more time and patience. Then I spot Perpetua post lol Yes totally agree with her

Thanks for all the advice.
I have taken it all on board and will increase my production based on advice given as soon as my new flavours arrive.

Don't know if it is convenient for you Stomper but a few of us gather in the Constitution Bar in Edinburgh on the first Saturday of every month. The August gathering has been cancelled due to Vapefest but we'll be back to normal on Saturday 3rd of September starting about 12 ish. Thanks to Greg there will be one helluva tasting session going on as he has donated a vape shop size stash that he will be sending to taz96 for us to try, along with the usual new flavours there is to try each month and the fall out which we bring back from Vapefest. It's also a good place if your having a bit of trouble with your gear, there's not much we haven't been able to sort out. macmagoo is an excellent source of knowledge (a real gentleman) and is good with problem solving.
Edit: apart from a shed load of juice, there will also be a fair range of mods and tanks you can get up close and personal with before deciding to buy any.

I got 'dragged' to a meet shortly after joining and it was the best thing I could have done as a noob for the reasons striker42 gave! Get along to as many as you can as they are great fun. I think the Edinburgh meet is the only regular one I haven't made it along to. It will be a fair old trek from Cornwall, but I'll manage it eventually.
