hi I'm not a kayfun owner but the problems you are suffering sound very typical of a top fill tank. Just sounds like it's losing vacuum, does it happen full or around half way? I've had a few tanks that vape so so until level with the deck bell then either give an amazing vape..... or spill their guts. Have you replaced the top cap and chimney seals yet? Usually the simplest fix although to be frank I'd just do them all. Looking from the outside SVM listened to the market rather than the customers in regards to the V5, gave it the features but didn't really address the niggles. All it needed was a bigger easier fill, bigger deck and more airflow. Topfil and rotating juice control... ermm? Yes it seems to happen about half way. I'll change the top seals and see if that works. Thanks

Could it be related to your build? Found this on another forum posted by the owner of CDV

That image (great find mate) is a little small to read from @paulo so here is the original link: ukvapers.org/Thread-Kayfun-5--110058?page=4The tip earlier in the thread from phtumshk is also a great one and I do this every time I refill now. When re-wicking, a little juice on the bottom chamber o-rings helps to create a good seal. This tip was actually on the Svoe website, but not sure if it still is. With the Mini v3, if I do get a little leaking (very rare), I am not shy to remove the tank from the mod, close off the juice flow, put a piece of tissue around the bottom airholes, and blow sharply several times into the drip tip to eject the excess juice out via the air-holes into the tissue. Works every time to be honest, but I rarely have to do this with the Mini v3 if I've done the above.

This is a little bit complicated at the bottom end I'd say. Not for the spanner folk I suspect. Fitting one seal is spooky enough. Don't think I'll be buying and a clone will make life really spectacular...for a little while?

I kind of did the same with the Cuboid, got 1 liked it so got another and I just bought an original Uwell Crown as I have 2 clones 1 needs some attention but might be fixable and I enjoy the other so went for an original. Not so sure what my OH will be saying about it though.

Latest report... Tried taking the whole thing apart to replace o rings, test for leaks without the bottom one and it's completely jammed. Pretty sure its a machining thread fault now so will be returning to cdv for advice on refund. Out of interest I bought a sxk clone but it's yet to arrive in the post.

Think you're very wise,I've got 3 KFL+ V2's, all clones and they're great! Only reason I bought the V5 is thinking it would be easier to fill and having a large glass tank to see the liquid.

Kayfill from FT (5 pack minimum) and some pmma spare tanks...(don't know if FT still do them) and you're sorted for the KFL+ v.2 Just put mine again in rubbing alcohol for 15 mins as the wicking was misbehaving - all sorted now .

Well got my kayfun 5 back today. Keith at cdv has been fantastic and managed to get it apart with rubber bands! He set it all back up for me and when it arrived, jeez! Had to use the rubber bands again to get it apart to fill. I've now put coconut oil on the o rings and so far alls good with no leaks. Phew!
