I've just received this email from Totally Wicked:

We're sorry to have to say it, and trust us when we say we don't want to but unfortunately, changes in Spain's legislation means that we can no longer ship to customers directly in Spain.

However, we do have an authorised independent stockist - Store Steam based in Spain who offers a very good selection of Totally Wicked products. They trade online and their website can be found here, or alternatively look for the nearest stockist.

I no longer buy anything from mainland Spain coz I never know if I'm gonna get charged customs fees, sometimes they charge me and sometimes not, so it's too unpredictable and works out way too expensive when customs get involved!!!

That stooooopid TPD is to blame for this, I just know it!!!! How many others will stop sending out to Spain I wonder

Friends and relatives in the UK will be your only way round it then

We had to do it several times that way when I found shops that had keen prices in the UK, but would not ship to mainland Spain

Yes Lee but most of my friends who come over now only bring hand luggage so they are restricted on the amount of liquid stuff they can bring over, which is a pain in the butt if I want them to bring me over a number of bottles to keep me going and to cut the cost on the UK postage of sending the gear to my UK friends in the first place.

I only have one friend at the moment who brings over a suitcase and he's just had a triple heart by-pass so even he can't get over here till he's been given the OK by the doctors.

I hope Totally Wicked don't just delete my account coz I live in Spain, I suppose I'll have to email them and ask them not to delete it as I may be using UK address/es to get the concentrates sent to. And that's another thing, why are they saying goodbye to me when I've only ever ordered concentrates, surely there's no restriction on sending them out!!!!

Don't fret toots when you want to place an order (special deals etc) let us know, I for one would be more than happy to be your 'go between woman' and can purchase and then gift post on to you. It shouldn't be much difference in cost...?

I assume you get charged international post from TW so once its been done once we would know the amount for goods/ plus UK postage/ onto you cost and you can simply paypal amount direct to me (or whoever does the deal)

Sadly two thirds of EU member states have decided that TPD = a ban on cross boarder/online sales

Aren't Spain and other countries breaking the main laws and rules of the EU, which was free trade between ALL the members.

The TPD doesn't restrict the cross-border sale of flavour concentrates (except, as far as I'm aware, menthols to Germany) so I suspect TW are either confused or using it as an excuse.

they're not looking at order history, just place of residence and blanket-mailing everyone...can you imagine trying to convince a customs-wallah it's only concentrates??
