As the title. I have this last hour received spoof/phishing email regarding monthly billing. Its related to my blueyonder.co.uk account.
It looks like sh*t and is. The phisher is using this source address:
webteam.virgin.media.te16596xiwzcdnl16828@technitheatre.com
The @technitheatre.com part is a theatre type company in France who I have emailed. Told them to get it fixed and get the police in because somebody has hacked their server by the look of it. No good telling Virgin as they are completely useless on this stuff...and their freaking phone service.
Will update this as I learn more...but watch out you Virgin users. I suspect they may have a go at virginmedia.com addresses as well, if you have it.

The PayPal ones are doing the rounds again. Haven't seen Paypal stuff in quite some time. Each time I did I reported it to them but...?

Had another spoof from some windscreen modding company (seemingly) in Crowborough Sussex. Emailed them to tell them and no response. Am beginning to think such websites are purposely setup for phishing?
An lo and behold yesterday...in pops a paypal phisher.. Account Update they say...tw*ts!!
Looks like some dumb security company has been hacked..as the source in the header is "account support <sec@sec.com>"
I might send that to paypal but since they never provide either news or FB on such things...whats the point?

As joeten indicated above, get yourself a Gmail account. I used to get these scam emails all the time with Outlook Express but have never had one since I went to Gmail a couple of years ago.
