So, my Red Astaire concentrate arrived....
Therefore:
30ml concentrate - £10 (T-juice with discount code) 6 x 30ml bottles = £2.40 "Lazy premix" (90/10, 6mg) - £4.50 (Juice Cabin)
180ml of Red Astaire 70/30 (@20%) = £16.90
T-Juice website - 30ml Red Astaire (pre-made) = £15.95......http://www.t-juice.com/shop/red-astaire/
I know that I am mixing "expensive" by using premixed base but the savings are still phenomenal....
Even a two weeks into mixing, absolute rank amateur like myself would say heartily to the non-mixers - PLEASE give it a go!!!
Did I vape it straight after shaking? Of course!
Did it taste good? Oh yes.....! (Cleito @ 43w)

Now you see why we find it so very, very difficult to shell out on ' premium ' pre-mix ghostrider1971 - unless it's something truly exceptional! With the lovely ( and growing ) assortment of ' one shots ' about there's never been a better time to give DIY a go. May there be many happy mixing days ahead for you.

It is mad isn't it ghostrider1971? To be fair I was never into so called 'premium' liquids before I started mixing and the most I ever paid was from GetVape at £4.99 a 15ml bottle but I did shell out a lot on other liquids that I thought were good but it turns out they were rank compared to my now DIY mixes. I did make a few 'dog end' liquids to begin with but after taking into account the poor bases I tried I am still quids in and now know exactly what I like and what concentrates will make a good mix. So much fun dabbling and making up your own recipes as well as following all the good ones on here.

I maybe dabbled with individual concentrates a little too early and sickened myself with not getting perfection right off so stepping back to One Shots.
What's Red Astaire like? Noticed on Vapours R Us they have Red Stairs which I'm presuming is a clone but they don't describe it so curious.

Just the beginning ghostrider1971Once you have a collection of concentrates, you'd be surprised what you can cook up without even needing to go shopping.

BeOne Everyone seems to get a different taste from RA, I get sweet red berries, strawberry/blackcurrant tunes and a little mint/menthol but actually I mix mine with different fruits every time, never the same. I don't as a rule like anything menthol but RA to me is really lush, it's my everyday drive to work and back liquid. I use mine at 15% and then the extra fruit on top, current mix is actually 15% RA and 5% T-Juice Black n Blue and it's really rather addictive Usual is 15% RA with a blackcurrant and blackberry of some description, usually TW blackcurrant.

Thanks TJ. Quite like the sound of that. Not too keen on menthol either but this might be worth a shot

I'll slip a recommendation in for Jacques le Mon if you're considering buying some Tjuice concentrates BeOne . . . . not a flavour profile I'd normally go for, but it's a jolly nice light and refreshing vape. So I'm glad I did. And, just to add . . . . it really is worth getting to grips with the DIY process/your tastes and making a few successful mixes using one shots to begin with - the confidence that can give, can't be bought. Wish they'd been around when I first started this addictive and enjoyable hobby!

Yeah I still mix one shots Perpetua and certainly not buying already made juice. I get 100 ml of one shots from Vapours r us for £10 and then when I mix it at 15% in my own nic, pg, and vg my 100ml still only costs £2.49. I'm happy with that price and still a massive saving .
