Melo 3 mini

I've decided to hell with high wattage big clumsy boxes at work and I'm going to grab an istick pico. Is the included melo 3 mini any good? I want a warm vape with good flavor. And what's the best coils for about 50w since so many are compatible?

They are a great little tank which, like most small tanks, give great flavour.
I prefer the 0.3 ohm coils (I just 2 coils from FT) at around 40 watts.
The larger 4 ml melo 3 is very similar but with larger capacity.

The .3 is very good in the v3 mini.

They are ok .. single horizontal coil but very simple to rebuild ... I much prefer the dual vertical 0.3 ohm Kanthal coil heads.

Vertical build possible do you think? Was thinking maybe a notch coil

I suppose anything is possible if you have the necessary skills ... I am unfamiliar with notch coils so can't help there but the ECR coil is basically the same as the original protank coils as regards rebuilding.
