Just picked up a used but basically good as new one of these. In dual mode wow they really are quite small and ergonomic, and forgot how nice wismec paint jobs are. Chip is great too. My only complaint? The 510. While it does work it is garbage. Anything screwed on that is less than tight wobbles like hell and the insulator looks like mush. I laugh that joyetech says they improved their 510s. This is basically a cuboid connector recessed slightly for the illusion of more travel which creates rattle and a less secure fit

I'm the same, trialling some 3mg now though cos got a nasty cold. This recipe is pretty good I just threw it together to have something mentholly

5% FW blue ice
5% FW grape soda
4% tpa strawberry
1% ethyl maltol

Had to knock it down to 140w, throats getting a bit rough. Maybe I will finally drop to 3mg

Buy the demon killer "alien" wire (flat clapton). Make 2x 3mm 6 wrap coils. Will be 0.3ohms ish (mine keep fluctuating, not sure if 510 or tank to blame, connections are tight. Wick sparingly, tight in the coil but don't let them wiggle or those hotspots will come back! What I mean is trim shortish, I like to cut flush with the deck, but you need a thicker wick and at least 3mm coils for this so adjust to preference. I see so many users absolutely cramming cotton in there, probably to reduce spitback but a tighter wick in coil will do the same and allow quicker wicking. Check your positive pin is tight, the insulator is easy to short and fry, I've done it! Would've done it again in fact but smok stopped me firing this time. Why couldn't the r200 save my deck the first time???? Anyway prime well have the afc open to near full but not fully open or it will mute flavor, crank the thing to 150w and enjoy! The experience is somewhere between the octuple and the quad for me, flavor pops a bit more on the stock coils but its close. Id say its on par with the sextuplet coil.

The pink lemonade is lovely at 15% a little sweetner would make it even better I reckon

I would like to see more pouches and stuff for mods but this is overkill. Not as much as the ud backpacks mind

Been loving the tfv8, but it's peed me off now. I decided to save money and just build the rba deck this month. Apart from crappy grub screws which I replaced it's been great. Last night the insulator failed, my build was perfect but the current actually arced between the positive and the deck melting the insulator, I was able to get ohms to low from my mod even when the coils were removed. On top of this as usual I had to hammer the wedge on the topfill in a little to stop it opening in my pocket. Smok, you make great products and I really fancy the alien kit but I'm reconsidering. What's a good alternative to smok? I like crazy coil heads and a decent rba section. Might try a geekvape eagle
