I shop in Aldi on a Saturday night between 6 & 8, it is always quiet, I hate necessary household shopping and so I am the speediest shopper and woe betide my daughter flitting around, I always try to shop when she is working, it saves me a fortune in non wasted food and I can get in, shopped, packed and back in the car in 20mins, I kid you not!
When my dad had his new hip I had to take them shopping one Friday night to Tescos, oh my days, 1 & 1/2 hrs later and that wasn't my dad at all, it was my blasted mother, seriously she is off and away and not to be seen again until hours later whereas my dad shops like me.
Funny how I can spend hours in a tack shop though when actually the ponies need nothing - LOL!

Used to love reading chrisjw 's rants about tripping over the pensioners in supermarkets, and what he'd like to do to them! Link - Slow ShoppingBit of a trek for you though Chris for your weekly shop (IF you're watching) So, tell me if I've got this right. They will offer a two hour slot to do the shopping it normally takes four hours to do?
